    Same argument from the usual nannyphiles (aka shouldagotaV8). PASSIVE technologies, like tires and lsd ENHANCES the driving experience. ACTIVE technologies, like ABS and traction control of any alphabetical type (ie- requiring a computer to do the driving for you) TAKES AWAY from your driving...

    I agree with Chuck.... but don't rob yourself of the experience of driving/owning a Viper. You won't regret it. Definitely find the local VCA chapter and get a ride from a member. You'll find many will even let you take it for a spin... as long as you don't look like a serial murderer.

    No problems handling a Gen2 at all. Driven a gen 2 and 3 pretty extensively and can say the Gen3 is the better driver, but the Gen2 is no slouch. You feel more connected to the gen2 as well... and of course, it looks much better. :D
