Why even drive a car? You can program a computer to just do it all then. You CAN buy traction control for your Viper... you DO know it exists, right? What is stopping you? Better yet, just trade your Viper in for a GT-R... I just don't understand this line of reasoning...
awww... did I hurt your wittle feelwings? :rolaugh:
We don't complain when called backwards or neanderthals because we don't believe in nannies. It's a fun alliteration. That's all. If it sends you crying to momma, then I'll stop. Really. (taunting for comedic effect only... in case you...
All good points, but you know what? It's been made. A hundred times over. What's the point? The govt IS planning on mandating some sort of nanny. Maybe we'll find some loophole. Who knows. The few ninnies here who have no business buying Vipers come here every couple weeks and start the same...
These threads are more than just a nuisance. They take up bandwidth that we pay for, and they foster divided camps within the club. This argument will never be decided, and no one is going to change the other person's mind, so having it rehashed every couple weeks is just stupid.
Unless you...
It's simple really... they want the Viper for it's reputation for being a bad@$$ car, but they're too much a ninnie to really handle one. So they whine all day about nannies. The irony is that what makes a Viper bad@$$ is it's lack of nannies. Maybe they're hoping that no one notices if they...
In line with what you're saying, an OFF switch at best just mean it's not actively doing what it's supposed to do, but it is still part of the electrical/computational system. Which still means more components to break and go wrong, even if it's not "ON".
Stupid... so many cars WITH nannies...
Old news... and probably death to the Viper. At the very least we need to keep the nannies off until then. Then again... 2012 and we're all dead anyways.
See... still won't answer the question. Go buy your dream vette already.... it's available today.
DOdge HAD factory racing... and killed EVERYBODY. hey need to bring it back.
The only thing not holding up after 20 yrs is this same lame argument by the ninnies... same dribble then as now. Viper still seemed to have done pretty well and won a whole lot of races. Heck, most manufacturers are afraid to run against Vipers without petitioning for restrictions. One can...
the more i see them, the more my first impression of them ring true when it was still concept... a doodle project by a first year design student.... the lines, cuts and creases don't make any sense
Can't believe you didn't make the comment about the thread topic... you're slipping Dave!
"Woodhouse mounts owners"... I always thought Woodhouse was an innovator in customer service! :lmao:
I go to Ted's for all my maintenance stuff... great guy, reasonable price. My shocks sprung a leak on a weekend when I was nearby. Luckily, he comes in occasionally on the weekend and told me to stop by. He replaced the bad shock with a spare used one he had and sent me on my way without taking...
That goes with the VAST majority of Viper owners...but as Americans we'll defend his right to have an opinion about it... as wrong as it is. :usa:
In Iran, they would have already beheaded him. :rolaugh:
