DPViper, call WillieP at Woodhouse. He has the X headers with OEM mufflers and says he likes the sound. I think MarkJ said there isn't that much of a power gain by changing to Corsa or others once you install the headers. I talked with Bernie at Tomball and he said they had been doing a lot of...
Radar detector, there was one on my 06 when I picked it up from seller. It was wired into behind the dash. I just clipped the wire and pulled it out. It's nothing factory, you don't need it. Search radar install, there are some pics on what other owners have used, many with the style cable you have.
Looking for a set of 09-10 factory 6-spoke wheels. I want to powder coat so they don't have to be in excellent condition. I have H-spoke wheels to trade if you want to go that route.
Thanks,
Murray
I actually like the H-spoke better than the 5. I had 5's on my 06 and put on the 6's. Sold them with the car and sold the 5's to a guy in Kansas. I like the look of the graphite 6-spoke wheels better than the graphite H style. JonB is sold out of the graphite and regular 6's. The search is on....
Can someone photoshop the 6-spoke wheels on the 2010 FE onto the black vert for me? Also, can you do one with the stock H-spoke wheels in the same color as the six spokes.
Thanks!
How can driving the twisties be more dangerous than driving in Austin traffic for a scavenger hunt. I would rather be out in the Hill Country moving with the majority of the traffic(Viper owners who know how to drive) than in Austin going with/against the traffic with lots of eyes looking at...
The splitter looks like the Eurotek carbon fiber lip splitter. Steve at Vipair also sells one like that. The spoiler looks to be the Autoform style. JonB Partsrack for that.
I saw this same thing at the 2009 Viper Round Up in Austin. A guy from Houston had bone stock Viper Blue coupe put down something like 560hp. 20 minutes later, 2008 ACR with full Belanger put down 580. I think some Gen4 engines are better built..or something. 20HP for $4000?:dunno:
