OK, I was just wondering. I sold my 06 Slate vert and it had the same exact thing. It was there when I got it in 08 so I have no idea what caused it. When I saw the picture, I was thinking there is no way there could be another one broke in the same place. I guess there are more.
If you haven't done so already, give Bernie at Tomball Dodge (ViperExchange.com). He is looking for low mile, no story Vipers. He also has a consignment program under BJ Motors that would get your car lots of exposure to the right crowd.
Good luck,
Murray
Get a warranty!!! You have up to 48 months after your in service date to add on, even if the 36 month original has expired. You can add up to 7/70 plan. Then go get car fixed....under warranty.
If this is $500 to repair at dealer, that is 1/3 the cost of the warranty. If your window regulator...
I don't use the NAV so can't help on this one. I'll try it out and see what it does. To me, sounds like each unit built has a mind of its own. Everyone has something different going on.
Yes, that's what mine did on Friday. Saturday, we were in the road for about six hour and it worked fine all day. That is when I started picking up the static when using BT. But that only happened a few times. Pull up to a light or a turn, put turn signal on, and you can hear a static sound with...
You just have to try, startling with zero's. I think mine was 111111 to change the logo. But the OP of this thread had 999999 for his. The system doesn't lock you out for trying so just keep entering a set of numbers an hit enter. If the code is right, the screen will open right away.
Go to factory settings in the options section and you have to enter a password. Six numbers, all the same. A screen will open up with different pictures, Dodge is one of them.
Anyone have issues with BT dropping the signal and not reconnecting unless you turn the car off and back on? Mine is a Gen4 so maybe some with that? Also picks up a lot of static sometimes using the BT. Any ideas what could be causing this? I'm using iPhone as play device.
You said it!!! There are still enough people in this economy that could be first time Viper buyers and sell out the first production run for the GenV. It's not like SRT is going to build 35,000 a year like GM does their halo car and dilute the market.
I think the new Viper will be an awesome...
The way I understand it is the number plates were stuck on the cars after they were completed. The VIN has nothing to do with the number plate and they were not done in any assigned order. I'll PM you information on a vendor that may be able to help you. I can't post the company name here as he...
You can turn that off. It is in the Nav settings under warnings. I also found my unit has three passwords. 1111111 will get you into change the logo that comes on when the unit is powered on. 777777 will get you into the system for the computer settings. Anyone know what RADIO ARE is? It is...
I did the MGW install today putting the car on jack stands. The front two bolts are very difficult to get off/on. Took about three hours from start to finish.
