    Follow up dyno runs today said your guess was incorrect Tom. The A/F mixture went from 12:1 to 13:1 (a LOT less black smoke).     It was quieter instantly - as soon as I started it with the new PCM - so it is not from clogged cats. Don't even think I have driven far enough to hurt the cats even if there was a problem with the mixture being too rich.

    I'll do better than that. They'll stick the A/F mixture probe in during the dyno run. Interesting concept Tom brings up. If he is correct it should run cooler also but so far it does not seem to be much different - of course we have had very cool temps here so my "testing" is skewed.

    Eibachs in for install - any tips/suggestions?

    Search this site for how to adjust the damping on the stock shocks (I recall some good posts a year or more back) and adjust your shocks so that the damping is at maximum. The Eibachs are short and stiff and need as much damping as you can give them to not be boingy.

    With the Gen III height rear tires on a Gen II 3.73 gears will have the effective ratio that 3.55 gears have with stock height Gen II rear tires.     1996 GTS - need more power, any suggestions?

    The more knowledgeable guys will correct me if I'm wrong, but 600 hp at the crank is going to require heads so when you add it all up you are talking $20k. That is why less than $10k for a blower installed to make even more power is so attractive.
