    Just figured I would offer it up to anyone in the club before I put it on ebay. This is the same piggyback controller used in the paxton setup. I've had it on my car for 1 year and it is in perfect condition, just going a different route. Email me if you are interested.

    engine pinging???

    It could be a bunch of things, but these cars are prone to getting carbon buildup on the tops of the pistons which make hot spots and ignite fuel at the wrong times causing detonation or pinging.

    My wife is cool. She gets enjoyment out of seeing me happy. Sure I get the old "can't believe how much you are spending on that car" thing, but she is basically behind me the whole way. You guys just have to keep them happy in other ways and it will keep a smile on their face, and yours too!

    Has anyone actually built or rebuilt their own viper engine?

    Done it myself a few times on a couple of different Vipers. Very easy car to work on. Buy yourself a shop manual with torque specs and you are good to go.

    2 vipers in the garage !!!

    Congrats! I've driven that can when Dan had it, it's quite a machine. Maybe once Adam gets his car back the three of us will hook up and compare blowers.
