It's a Bend Pac 4 post lift purchased from www.americanautomotiveequipment.com. I believe they have prices on the site. It's a good sturdy piece that works great.
I just left the block at the machine shop. Let me tell you I was such a breeze working on the car with a lift. Anyone who does their own work and has the room should invest in one.
Well, the weather cooled down in NY and it's going to be a crappy day here tomorrow so what better day to pull the motor. I will be putting in new forged pistons and dropping the compression getting the motor ready for a SC install. I don't know which system I'm going with but I want the motor...
No need to comment about blaming the VCA, but it looks like John is still up to his old tricks. Since I know you are reading this John and are not allowed to post, keep up the good work! Maybe someday someone will take matters into their own hands and not go the slow court route. I'm not...
Guys, just do a search on him. It's not being a Prima Dona to get pissed off when someone steals from you. The reason some people love him and others hate him is simple. The people he did good work for like him. Why wouldn't you, good product and a likeable guy. But all of those who got...
Tony, I'm just talking about a meter/wideband sensor, not a unit to control A/F. If you could dig up some links that would be great. I did find this one http://www.rx7.com/cgi-local/3catalog.cgi?cat=12&part=6, but it's also expensive. On that page I think the only one worth getting is the...
I think he knows it's not smart for him to post in public or he will get ripped to shreads from people who know about him. Guess that's why he hasn't posted here. Silly me, I forgot, he can't post here anymore!
I really just wanted to see the graph and where the power came on. That isn't top secret is it? I don't think anyone doubted his mods, just actaully wanted to know all the details.
Vipermed,
I think you are a little off the mark. My questions are only because I'm thinking of going forced induction after many years of NA. Also seeing a graph shows plenty and somehow proves what is written a little bit. About sharing a fair amount of info, what's the deal? I thought we...
I spoke to Dynojet a few weeks ago. It could account for as much as a 4% loss. There is no real calculation but the higher # gears do show up as less HP.
Venumish,
What you have should fit. Doesn't look like they will but with a little stretch they fit fine. Just don't use anything sharp which could slice the rubber.
Ron,
Try using your search key. I think you will find all the answers you are looking for about Seans system. You are really looking for answers, right?
Re: Enough is enough........does anyone realize what\'s going on?
I love the car and don't use the warranty at all. I would rather pay for parts then have someone else work on my car, so I guess I'm not in the same boat that many of you are. I do have to say though that DC should have cleared...
Randall,
Heads, cam, intake, exhaust and gears. I haven't done anything yet in regards to a supercharger. I'm weighing all my options in regards to what kit and what pistons to go with.
I pretty much agree, although I don't think the driving instruction is the big issue here. When I was younger I built fast cars and drove them stupidly. I was good mind you, but stupid. I would have found it hard to believe, but now that I look back I was **** lucky. At the time the only...
