I was going to say 300 but after seeing this http://jalopnik.com/346943/ I change my mind. If someone was willing to pay a million dollars for the first ZR1 off the line there should be someone willing to pay twice that for the first gen5. Enough said.
Amazing. Hats off to Austin. I have some edition skills my self but his are outstanding. I think one day those skills will pay for his viper. Go Austin!
As other have said on other threads, the answer to this will depend on whether you like the looks of the gen3/4 over the looks of the gts. Personally and assuming interior, frame stiffness, gearing, power, weight and performance is the same I'd prefer the volado design or even something better...
Just wanted to updated this. I went with California Covers as they were the best at answering my questions, their covers seem top notch and many members are happy with them.
Completely agree. Maybe after seeing the gen5 he decided to wait 5-10 years for the price of the gen5 to come down. I know patience is a virtue but in this case it just sounds ridiculous.
Me neither I wonder if this time the rear end of the coupe will be the same in the vert. Could someone do a photoshop to see a convertible version of the car?
What's interesting here is that it seems the logic is now backwards. While before the track specific version (ACR) was more expensive than the street version now the fully loaded car will be more expensive than the track oriented version. Great news for hardcore performance enthusiasts I'm sure.
I will have to reserve final judgement until I see the car in person but I prefer the looks of the SRT10s versus the GTS (I know not many people would disagree with me on this one). Having said that I think the GTS looks awesome so it's impossible not to like the new car. As its design has tons...
Good point. I think the one from California Covers is the only one that is machine washable. I like the fact that snakeoyl's has the viper logo and you can do custom embroidery but protecting the car is so much more important than having a cover that reminds you what's waiting below it.
I've been shopping around for a good outdoor cover to protect my car when not indoors. Aftar searching the forums and talking to several manufacturers I have come down to 3 options. All three of them are willing to make a custom car cover to fit the street serpent body. They are all similarly...
The interior pic was awesome but I have to say that I don't think this picture is very flattering. I'm optimistic though as I've never been disappointed on a viper design before. I'm sure the real thing would look a thousand times better in person. I do love how wide it looks and the fact that...
:rolaugh: A good sarcasm is difficult to come by in the web but you did a good job with this one. And I think it's also a good case in point. Current gen4 owners are unlikely to go out there desperate for selling their amazing machines just because there is a new viper out. Even if some gen4...
That's ok I appreciate the honesty and although I'll be the one making the decision I'm glad I asked first as I don't wanted to end up using something lame. It seems most people thought Serp3nt was not bad and I like it.
