    When you say buyer (highlighted in bold) did you mean seller? Running the VIN and doing the carfax are good suggestions I'll definitely do that.

    Very subtle difference. I like it both ways because of different reasons. While your proposition might arguably have better curves to meet with the headlights edges. I think the original design looks a tiny bit meaner. I wouldn't lose any sleep over this :)
