I like that advise. I bet sometimes it's going to be harder than it sounds especially with other people being stupid around the car. Most people seem not to understand that a viper above any other super car is meant to be raced on the track and not in the street and unlike other vehicles it...
Thanks for the advice I will definitely get the book. I know it's not like practicing and can't replace first hand experience but in my opinion knowing the theory is better than not knowing it. Hopefully I'll eventually get into a formal class and I'll have the opportunity to learn some of this...
Very interesting thanks for sharing the video. It looks like it was going to correct when you turned into the skid but then the rear started slipping into the opposite direction way too fast. I doubt the average person would have fast enough reflexes to do anything but maybe two feet in. I can...
I haven't take high performance driving lessons as of yet but I've watched a ton of videos on the subject back since I decided I'd have a SRT10 someday. In some of those videos they state exactly the same as you mentioned on your second point look at the direction you want to go and chances are...
This is going much better than I expected. I thought there would be a few days before hearing something useful seems there are quite a few folks with experience and knowledge to share.
What if you still at a point where you've lost traction but the car is not spinning yet just leaning sideways? I've heard that in this scenario hitting the breaks will make the car spin in the direction of the tail. Truth or False?
I have read the "how to keep new viper owners safe" thread and although I think it's great and discusses several things that you must always keep in mind to keep the car under control at all times I'd like to see a thread that focuses on discussing what to do in case you already lost control...
Actually this is more inline with what I had in mind for rear and side view:
Front:
Rear:
Side:
Also it is a factory twin turbo 8.7L V10 1200 hp, with dual disc clutch, traction and stability control with a big off switch, caravaggio interiors that does 0-60 in under 3 seconds and...
Although I'm sure we'll all have to wait to see the real deal I have had a ridiculous amount of fun seeing the evolution of the sketch. I hope the real car would blow us all away. Special thanks go to neo_rambo for his outstanding edition work and to my wife for starting this thread and for...
Very interesting analysis. From this it's easy to see I didn't draw the headlights quite right on my sketch. However in my opinion the concept we developed together looks much much better and is far more enticing than a cross GTR/S2000. I still think the new car is going to be very good looking...
While I think your idea of using a real snake characteristics on the body design is good. I think the design of that picture is hideous. In my opinion it looks like a nisan silvia or honda s2000 with an ugly body kit. If in doubt take a look at this pictures:
Call me crazy but I think I think I'm starting to see where they are getting their inspiration from:
If that's the case I think this might be just a tiny bit closer...
I thought I would post it in case you want to update your cell phone wallpaper.:2tu:
