Just out of curiosity when and where was that. Right now it would take about 2.5-3 times the price of the new viper to get a decent place over here. I'd much rather have the viper :drive: though I'm not sure my wife would necessarily agree with my train of thought :smirk:
This is very very cool. Kudos to Ralph and SRT.
I wonder if creating a different trim was the best idea from marketing stand point. Fair disclaimer: I know next to nothing about marketing I'm an engineer. Having said that I think it would have been better to break the record with the same car...
Given the low mileage I think it's fairly priced. I wouldn't reduce it more than a few thousand. As other have said problem here is likely not the price but your marketing. You need pictures and video.
:2tu: There is nothing like a viper. I remember been surprised several times during my first few months of ownership on how much joy this car can provide. Every time I get on mine I end up with a huge smile on my face. I'm also surprised at the way joining the VCA and assisting to the events has...
Except for the viper logo that looks like has some buggers on a bad cold day. Everything else looks awesome, nice job :2tu:
You should try to lit the eyes instead.
You got a love a snake skin green gen4. If I could own a second viper it would be this color.
I would sell my body to pleasure extremely hot women before selling my viper :drive:. Actually I would do this while I keep my viper... Does anyone know of a way I can do this? :rolaugh:
Buying a car like this makes financial sense to very few people. Money isn't everything and life is too...

My longest post in that one should come in handy.

Now let's do this with a heavily modified Gen3 :)
I got to say. That modified Gen 2 still looks, sounds and performs awesomely after so many years. If I had the money I'd personally take the new one but a heavily modded gen2 is a great alternative at a probably lower price. That was a nice GTS.
I was hoping for a thorough review and a Stig lap.
At least I go to see the new viper again which in my opinion was the better looking car on the group and has now not only the performance but an interior and gadgets that rival those of the ones in the much more expensive competition.
Looks...
It was very entertaining to read through your opinion. I can't wait to see it in person my self. I have a feeling I'm going to love it too. I hope not too much as it's going to be out of my price range for a good while. Right now I'm convinced that looks wise I like my car and the 4th generation...
I'm not even going to bother to reply this one as it's obvious you didn't bother to read the whole thread.
At this point I should probably say that I never intended to generate this heavy of a discussion. I was just looking into the future and wondering what it will bring...
Well extracting oil from the most recondite place on earth and producing gasoline from oil is not exactly what I would call an straight forward process, yet we managed to do it just fine. And while I agree using hydrogen as a power source implies some engineering challenges they are considerably...
It sure sounds like having a beer with you and discuss on ultimately meaningless subjects would be lots of fun :2tu: count me in for that when we are both at a VOI event.
I didn't quite get your point on this last post... But differently to other technologies this one is actually possible to...
I forgot to say when I replied to your comment that I agree with you about the weight and cost. It's not going to be easy or inexpensive and then there is the fact that although hydrogen is very abundant it's always attached to something else at a molecular level and the process of extracting it...
I think the better question (also asking in a nice way) is do you really think crude oil is an unlimited resource? And yes 100 year or more means unknown I don't think that information is publicly available. Again it's not so much about when it will happen, the only important thing here is that...
OK while I admit that the 50 year estimate was just sort of a paranoid exaggeration not based on facts. The fact is we will eventually run out of oil. May be in a hundred years or may be more. What you are failing to observe here is that while the timing in my original statement might not be...
Correct me if I'm wrong but while it's true hydrogen is flammable, it is also the least dense element and it disperses very quickly meaning in case of an accident it would disperse before it could ignite. It also burns very fast and has a higher ignition temperature than gasoline (gasoline is...
The problem isn't really what pollutes the most although I'm willing to beat gasoline would be the looser in that front. The real issue here is that we are running out of oil. Some day children will have to learn what gasoline was and how it was used from a book.
