Yes. What do you think?
Keep in mind that you would have to pay for the crate and shipping either way, so you would pay normal price + 100 (Crate) + Shipping. With the group buy you would be getting an arguably good discount on the hardtop. This is great if like me you were planning to buy it...
Cool we will be part of a very elite club of viper owners that have the best of both worlds. I think the hardtop will look killer in your car. I don't know about the storage rack. My guess is that it's not included.

Guys,
Here is what Steve told me. The non painted ones he can do for $2395.00 + $100.00 for the wood shipping crate used for safely shipping the top. Shipping will need to be quoted per customer.
He's getting a shipping quote for Sam…in the UK… and he said he will do the painted one for...
I'll try to get group buy going but if no one is interested I'll go solo. I have been in contact with Steve since yesterday. He told me it would be good if I get 3 other people interested. But I'm buying mine regardless of what other people do.
If anyone wants one. Let me know or talk to Steve...
I don't know for sure. I have heard 30-40 pounds. It takes two people to put it on but the need for a second person is only to get it in place as you can put it in and clamp by yourself. I'm sure somebody has done it themselves. 40 pounds isn't that much weight for what you get if you ask me. :2tu:
So it looks like if I want a hardtop. I will need to decide between Autoform and Vipair. Although the vipair one is much more similar to what I had in mind. Right now I'm inclining to Autoform because it has more head room that allow for a helmet, people have used it on the track with no issues...
I just spoke to Jeff. He just let me know he is not doing SRT10 hardtops anymore. Bummer. I wish I ordered one last year... If anyone has one for sale PM me please
Tony
Guys, I'm going to call Jeff today to talk numbers and see where he stands. I'll send a PM to those of you that shown interest to discuss on detail and see who of you is willing to commit to buy a top.
I would think the same if I lived in San Diego... I love to drive with the top down so much that I'd like to forget my car has a top on it... It's just there are a couple months in here where the weather is nice enough for having the car out (not raining). But not sunny at all and too cold for...
Outstanding pictures. If that doesn't motivate some guys to bite the bullet I don't know what will. Have to disagree with you though. Third best cosmetic mod for the vert. First is Street Serpent Conversion. Second is Coupe Rear.:2tu:
Last time I spoke to Jeff (earlier this year), he told me it would be a about 300 dollar discount per top in case of a group buy.
"Painted tops are $2995 and I can offer them for $2650, $2350 in primer for all of the orders at one time." (Jeff Lemke)
Having said that I will need to double...
Since I bought street serpent #3 I have been wanting to buy a Lemke hardtop to complete the look. Since I bought the car I have been planning on fixing all the rock chips and paint defects on my car for it to look perfect. I took a performance driving class on Saturday and I spun once...
I had my cover custom made by California Covers and they did a very good job. I have no idea how a stock cover would fit. I'm guessing it wouldn't be terribly bad. It's not like you added a wing for example. At the same time I'm 100% sure it wouldn't be a perfect fit which sorts of partially...
Does anyone know if the 2013 SRT Viper will be shown at the Seattle autoshow this year?
I don't see it in the list of exotics/supercars but at the same time I found this:
http://www.seattleautoshow.com/26-specialty-exotics-2013-2013-srt-viper
The car has 1 inch wide spacers already on each wheel but yeah I sometime think even wider spacers would look nice. Just not sure it's a good idea... it might be challenging to fit wider spacers (assuming they even make them... and how adding them could affect handling is a concern. I guess it...
OK. I will play. In my opinion there is absolutely no comparison between the coupe rear and the convertible one. The coupe one looks so much better. Here is proof:
For me this is the angle where the coupe rear makes all the difference in the world:
Enough said :)
