(CanadianViperGTS, I wasn't aware that there was an AB chapter.)
Did I do that or was I set up that way?:crazy2:
Anyway, do you know how I can get it fixed?
Welcome Tony2. The car looks great. I'm out in the SW up by COP. Also had Davenport put a paxton on my Gen II. They did a great job and haven't had an issue yet.
Have fun with it!:D
I'll have to pay attention next time it doesn't work to see if I'm around towers or lines. I'm not sure off hand. If that isn't the case, maybe I'll have to pick up a new fob.
The battery is only a couple of years old.
When it does work, yes the horn honks and the dash light blinks. The lights also flash on disarm. I've never tried setting the alarm off by popping the hood though so I'm not sure what happens with that. It just seems like the unit in the car...
I have a 2000 GTS and keep running into the same issue. Half of the time my fob's do not work to lock/unlock the doors. I put new batteries in both of them so that is not the issue.
One minute, they work and the next time I go to lock the door it no longer works. I've held both buttons down to...
Based on the gauges I didn't overheat the car at all.
The paxton was installed right before I parked it last winter so the car has only been driven for about 40 minutes since then.
Maybe it was an air bubble from when the paxton was installed?
I'll get a new cap and fill and purge the...
When I pulled into the garage and shut the car off it sounded like some liquid dripping. So I checked under the car and seen it leaking out from the front fascia (passenger side right where the reservoir tank is). I came back to it and checked it 1/2 hour later and by then I had a pool of...
The paxton's tank is over on the driver side by the wheel on my car.
I just assumed the issue had to be over by the reservoir tank since all the fluid on the floor originated from in front of the passenger wheel.
I'll check out the paxton fluid level etc tonight.
I'm trying to figure out what may have caused the following situation, any help would be appreciated.
I pulled the car into the garage last night and noticed coolant leaking from underneath. It ended up draining the entire reservior tank that is located in the front fairing (in front of the...
I've been reading that this stock pulley and bracket is a weak link on the Gen II's. I checked out Roe racing and it says that it will not fit on a paxton car.
For those of you with a paxton s/c, where did you buy your pulley and bracket from?
Thanks.
D&C Performance sells the film for the headlights and fog lights. I just received mine and plan on cleaning the lights first also, before installing them.
I have done some searching and still haven't received a clear answer on which is better to monitor with a base paxton kit on a Gen II. Should I be installing an air/fuel ratio gauge or a fuel pressure gauge to ensure things are safe?
It has been tuned on a dyno but for the added safety, I would...
I just put one in my standard 2 stall garage. The standard requirements is add up the height of the two cars and add another 8 inches. 4" for the ramp and 2" on top of each car. Your door will have to be above this. Most likely you will need to change your overhead door to raise it up...
People I know have used this guy for ferrari's and porsche's. He is from Calgary but probably deals with Western Canada. He should be able to bring it up for you.

Thanks for the offer Ted, I might be following up with you on that.
I have talked to Davenport and they install paxton's but I plan on going with the Roe (2000 GTS).
Thanks for the help.
