    You just said it best. I guess I'm a bt defensive of my Gen 3, but really. Most comfy seats Ive ever been in, and the rest of the car aint bad either. Dont get me wrong - the new car is fantastic, and world class. But non of the previous Gens are slouches either.

    Agreed. All these reviews posted this morning, all of a sudden, a Gen IV is crude trash. Funny, I always thought it was supposed to be one of the best performing cars on the planet. And the seats? The SRT seats in both my Viper and Charger are some of the most comfy I've ever been in.

    Update: looks like it's the pan gasket, very slight. So, I'm gonna live with it.     2010 ACR won't pass inspection

    PA is not better! The worst part is, emissions is only for the heavily populated counties here! At least we have the 5000 miles per year exemption, however, you still have to pass the first time. I thing the OP is between a rock and a hard place. I'm interested to know the final solution.

    Gen III or Gen IV - which should I buy?

    If you're set on the coupe, then you're limited to a 2006 in a Gen 3. If the money is not an issue, then go for a 4. However, as a Gen 3 owner, I can't use the power I have know, and would have a hard time justifying the cost for me to upgrade. t

    airbag light

    Mine has done this since I bought it used...I knew about it. It's not the connectors with mine, it's the clockspring. I live with it, as it is pricey to fix, and apparently doesn't affect airbag operation (or so I'm told).

    It's better than the $542 my Ford dealer is charging me to track down why the wipers don't work on my 07 Grand Marquis. Won't pass PA inspection without it. Firestone was stumped, and so far, Ford has thrown a new motor and wiring harness, and they "think" that will fix it! My Viper costs me...

    This. As Mopar Steve said, many people on this board service their own cars, and they aren't even professional mechanics, let alone Viper techs. Most of the "tech" in this car is already in use across the current SRT line, and in many cars in general. My own dealer doesn't have a dedicated Viper...
