Yes, you push it all the way down.
Fluid always looks like its a LOT more when its on the ground then it really is ... if you lost a full quart on the ground it would be a HUGE mess ---
I just got two new hatch struts ... the cold weather finally killed my stock ones.
I took a quick look to see how they are mounted.
Do you just pop off the plastic peice on either end ... and are there screws beneath?
Is it just that simple? One screw on each end?

If its small , those little touch - up bottles work great.
If its big ... there is a site online that will mix any factory OEM color and put it in a spray can for you , let me see if I can find the site ---
I run 3.73's and 20"s ... and have pretty much the same setup you have minus the headers.
I THINK I have a tune ... because the A/F ratios on the dyno were good for having mods, but I am not sure ( previous owner did the mods )
I put down 425 hp / 460 tq

OK sounds good ... I will find a place to do a little practicing. If I can hook on the street ... the track should be no problem I would think.
