I think they came out great. This is on the "River Road" in Alton, IL .
I was on a car cruise with about 35 other cars at the time.

Thanks for looking :) ---
OK, thanks guys ... I will need to play with the pills and figure it out. I appreciate the 20% calculation starting point to figuring out the shift point. I want it around 5400 ... looks like I will have to go with a 4400 pill too. If I jump up to 4600 , it makes it a 5520 shift point. ---
Is it accurate, or are you using a different pill for a specific RPM?
Im having issues with the MSD one now.
My shop is going to hook up the Auto Meter 5340 I had at first ... and figure out the pill that will give me the shift light I want at 5400rpm.
Something about the coil setup...
I just got back from my shop trying to get the Auto Meter 5340 light installed.
Auto Meter themselves said this unit can not be used with an accurate reading ... its only designed for 4,6,8 cylinder engines.
Something about "2.5" setting.
I asked what other products they sell , that will...

Just ran across another article that says " This snake produces venom via a 400-horsepower 8.0-liter V10 engine that was a truck design cleverly recast in aluminum for the Viper " LOL ---
OOPS wow, Dick Winkle said "the only thing it has in common with the truck engine is the fact that its a 90 degree v , everything else has been changed"
Neat vid , thanks for posting that!!! ---
I was under the impression that the Viper engine was originally a v-10 Truck engine ... sent off to Lamborghini since they were owned by Chrysler at the time.
Lamborghini did their thing and out came the Viper v-10?
The new HotRod Magazine writeup on the 2013 Viper claims this is the biggest...
I had a guy come up to me and ask it my 2001 was a new Viper the other day at the gas station. Claimed to be a RETIRED higher up manager from Chrysler too ... who knows :)
Awesome video , I don't think I would let someone flog the hell out of my car on a track like that !!!! ---
OK, well I am not saying they will take as much boost as the forged engines will.
I trust what you say with our applications. I haven't done research in the boosting area in relation to Vipers.
I own a GMC Syclone and have messed with Turbo Buicks a little bit ... I see people push 25lbs of...
The Hyperuetic pistons aren't that fragile guys LOL ... they are a step below forged , and are more light weight. I don't think they would be the weak link personally
Thanks FASTMATT , that's exactly what I was looking for :D ---
Thanks for the link ... I need to make a list of stuff and buy it all at once LOL ... I keep making single item purchases and get raped on shipping!!! ---
I was curious to what the horsepower limit was on our stock bottom ends before the engines have catastrophic issues?
When the issues come up , whats the weak link that usually causes the problems?
Thanks :) ---
