removing sunvisors - 3 piece top

I have a 1999 RT-10 wiih the really nice 3 pieceaftermarket hardtop. I am heading out for Salt Lake later in the month and would like some advice on whether I should remove the sunvisors. I have found that I can put the 2 hardtop side pieces in their vinyl covers and stow them behind the driver...

    Pre - VOI Track Day........

I noticed that the driving school requires a roll bar for convertibles. I know that is common and I remember doing that at the Cascade Driving School. I had heard that because the Viper Club was renting the half of the track that we could run without our top for Viper Club events only. Do you...

1:18 Scale Viper Models at Costco

I was at Costco today and I was checking out the early Christmas displays and they had a big bunch of Maisto 1:18 models. I dug through the bunch and found a red Gen III roadster which I already had and a yellow with black stripes Special Edition GTSR. I don't belive they ever produced an actual...

    mad neighbors

If you have an RT-10 with the top off it is easy to put a couple of railroad ties on top and have a great place to tie-down to be sure that you don't lose the load. Just kidding. I have seen other cars doing worse. I assure you that I don't haul that kind of stuff in my Viper.

    Uh, I did it again!!

Super nice machine. I would love to replace my 1997 Ram SST with an SRT-10 pickup. What kind of power does it make with the Paxton?

Contemplating selling my hard top & soft top

I also think that keeping your original tops would be an excellent idea. Think about the car in 10 or 20 years and how hard it would be to find those tops. I would think it would make the car easier to sell later. I was amazingly lucky to find a used 3 piece top on Craig's List near here. I...

Red Gen1 RT-10 on I-5 North on Wednesday

I was driving north on I-5 yesterday morning and saw a very nice red Gen-1 RT-10 with Oregon plates. He was near the Tacoma Dome near exit 133 and I was able to catch up with him in my car. I gave him a nice thumbs-up and waved. Unfoprtunately I was in my 1964 Ford Galaxie convertible, so he...

    Viper Run in Jasper, Alberta

You have some of the most spectacular scenery I have seen. I have toured there in the past and really enjoyed it. I think touring in my Viper would be a great drive and one of these days I will try to get out there on vacation.

    New Polisher

Nice looking job on the car. I use the Griot's products exclusively and I have noticed the shine on the car gets better with each coat of Best of Show. I also have the 3 inch power buffer and pads and it allows me to get in all the places the 6 inch can't reach. It is also a lot lighter, but...

Spring Opener Car Show @ XXX Rootbeer w/BBQ to follow!

I plan to be there, even though it is a very early (5:15 a.m.) departure for me. I will bring along The Amigo's red folding chair when I come as I am hoping he will be there. Lets hope for a nice dry day.

    Washington VOI Attendance

I am number 3 and my only big concern is figuring out how to get all my stuff into the RT-10 for the trip. I have the 3 piece top and I can stow the 2 side pieces behind the seats (We are not very tall) and if necessary I can drive with the center section installed like a T-top. I also need...

    Tom's 40mm brakes

I put a pair of black and white caliper covers on my black 99 RT-10 and it dressed up an otherwise very plain caliper.

    Updated WAVCA site

I just finished checking out the updated WAVCA page and I think it is great. Nice job to whoever did all that hard work. The photos are crystal clear and it has a ton of new information. Keep up the good work.

Black Vipers win @ Dyno Day on Sat April 17th

I always thought that snakes, especially Vipers , preferred warm tropical places. Apparently today's cool and damp weather brought out the beast in our Vipers (especially the black ones) and resulted in some very serious numbers on the dyno. The owner had recently had the Mustang dyno...

    New Viper in the area

I was returning home from a doctor appointment about 10 this morning in my black 99 RT-10 and I met a SRT-10 coupe, black with graphite stripes, coming off the Warren Avenue bridge here in East Bremerton. I was a bit surprised to see another Viper here in the sticks and didn't get a chance to...

    My new favorite srt10 video!!!!!!

Very nice video. He lapses between great respect and fear of the Viper. It can humble lots of decent drivers.

Why did I buy a Viper?

Me too! It always works like that for me. I use mine as a daily driver (I am retired) as long as it is dry.

    Cones are here!!!!

I like the fact that they are color coded. I am hoping that will allow me to find my way around the autocross course without getting lost or running over too many cones. I tend to get lost easily and sometimes forget how to get out of a phonebooth. I am really looking forward to having a Viper...

    Hood pad clips

I should have checked the web address earlier. Go to Northland Fasteners- Best selection of Automotive Fasteners - 816 453 7277 and you can check their online catalog. Go to Dopge items and then search around for them.

    Hood pad clips

There is a forum article on painting the hoodpad which mentions a manufacturer and it seems they were fairly reasonable. They referred to Northland Fasteners - Products. I think you can probably Google it and find their website.

1 of 1 VCA Raffle ACR

It looks much sharper in real life. There should be no mistaking it as a real live made in the USA car. Very distinctive.
