Still a fantastic design. It's going to age very well, just like good wine :D
Here's a link to a video by Mark Trostle (Viper’s Head of Design for the new Gen V), where he comments that the new generation took its design elements from the first two generations. They don't do that for no...
Does the stock Alpine unit have an aux input on the back side? I want to hook up my mp3 player...any options besides replacing the stock deck?
cheers :scool:
Lots of Vipers have a seat lowering kit installed. Makes a huge difference in visiblity if your taller. After I lowered mine, the difference is night and day, although I made mine custom to keep the sliders in place. But well worth the effort.
I believe they produce the entire instrument cluster, but I'm not sure. Here's a link I googled with some info:

Congrats on the purchase! Whenever I see a GenI, I always think that they should have continued to use a 3-spoke wheel design for later Generations....looks awesome!
It is a personal choice...RT looks fantastic with the more classic lines and without the roof, it is really really low (even a little bit lower than a Lambo Aventador)....with the roof, you have coupe looks because it's a targa compared to the Gen3-4 soft tops. Only disadvantage is, as was...
Well, for some easy power, add smoothtubes and K&N Air filters for 10bhp (same add-on as the Gen 2 ACR have for the claimed 460 bhp). HIgh flow cats and low restriction exhaust will free up power as well. There are some threads on the forum with dyno testing with this setup. Some also have a...
Beautiful GTS...I really like the offset on those rear wheels. But I agree, 18/19s might look more at home on it. Or at least 19/20's. Don't want to go too big on the front.
Yeah, especially the front looks strange. The rear is ok, with the covered lights ,mounted fairly low. Motortrend included it in a high speed shootout with the GTS ACR, C5 Z06, 996 TT etc....I think it was last in acceleration and most other performance tests :)
Targa model would be real nice. Or if they go really innovative, they could do it like the Qvale Mangusta....targa top and if you want a full convertible, then the targa bar retracts into the back....
Looks like the roadster will be coming as a 2015 model, according to this article:

Hopefully they do a Power Lap in those cars along the season. Would be nice to actually see the lap times of all three. I'm sure the Vanquish would be last, weighing more and having less power than the rest. LFA is also way overpriced for the image it has....looks nice, but not more exotic than...
