10 Most iconic Cars of the Past 25 Years

Same here + the Mustang. But overall, it's a stupid list. Some of those cars are hideous...not iconic.

    Resin drop problem...

If you don't have to pay any extra, it will definitely be for the better. Might as well get a perfect car. Keep us updated with any progress. cheers!

    Resin drop problem...

Is he taking off the clearcoat and getting it resprayed? Sounds a bit strange to me? Is he actually doing the work himself or having a professional body shop do the work. If he starts to polish away the clearcoat or even use sandpaper without having any experience with paintwork, I would be very...

    Resin drop problem...

Take some pics and show us what you mean. Is it just drops of resin glue? OR maybe tree sap? Don't take off the clearcoat if it's just something on top of the paint, otherwise you need to repaint....if the bubbles are under the clearcoat, then it is something many Vipers have. I heard the...

So which gear or gear shift is your favorite?

Also, which gear shift is your least favorite? I also prefer the 2-3 shift. First gear is almost too violent :D Not a big fan of the 5-6 shift, because 6th gear is sooooo long, even compared to 5th.

    S2000 push button start

Most other starter buttons are wired in a similar way. Sometimes, if you buy a kit, it comes with a custom relay specifically for that application. My worry with that was, if that relay should fail, you can't just go to the next autoparts store to replace it. You'd have to order that specific...

    S2000 push button start

Nice. I also considered that location. Honestly, the hardest part of the install is DECIDING where to put it :D

    S2000 push button start

Yes, but the Gen3 start button works in the same way, from the factory. Still have to put in key, turn it, then press the start button. Same with the S2000. It's not until recently that manufacturers switched to proximity keys. I realize it's more of a gimmick than anything else, but isn't the...

    S2000 push button start

The Gen3 start button does not have a surround ring, as it fits directly into the molded dash. You might get it to work, if it fits exactly into the mirror toggle switch location, but I'm not sure. But the S2000 button will cover the hole in the dash, so that it looks fully integrated. Gen3...

Cars fall into sinkhole at National Corvette Museum

    damn, that sucks. :crazy2:

    S2000 push button start

No, I disconnected the key from the starter (yellow wire), so that I can only start with the start button. Kind of defeats the entire concept of a start button, if you can simply start the car with the key. Key is only required to turn on ignition, supply power to the start button and unlock...

    S2000 push button start

Ok, here's the wiring diagram. If you use the hard drive connector on the start button, it will have different colours, but the wires will splice/connect into the same locations. I also found other connectors that will hook up to the back of the button (like a fan connector), so it doesn't...

    S2000 push button start

I'll draw up a wiring diagram for the install and post it later on today. It's pretty straight forward for the most part.

    S2000 push button start

Will do :2tu: :) Well, I based it on instructions by other Viper owners, so I really don't want to take credit for what others did. I just modified some steps to suit my specific needs. I can pm you some links if you'd like.

    S2000 push button start

Thanks :) Keep waxing and polishing your Viper, before ICBC revokes your collector status :lmao: See you at car shows in Spring!

    S2000 push button start

Thanks :) You still have to turn the key to switch on the start button (otherwise you could crank the engine without a key), but it wont start with the key. All other key positions are still intact, like ACC. The mirror toggle switch location is perfect for the start button. Looks factory.

    S2000 push button start

We had a long weekend up here in the North, so I finally got around to installing my S2000 start button ;) I followed the instructions posted here in the past, with a few minor changes. I do have the updated interior with the mirror toggle switch. Since I put the start button in that location, I...

    Most fun car ever?

noisy, as in a noisy vacuum cleaner :D But you're absolutely right. I've driven the RX8, and sure does drive well. I think there are quite a few turbo and supercharger kits for that car, not sure how long the rotary can take the boost though.

    Keepin 95 Alive Build

I never noticed that difference, but now that you point it out, it's pretty obvious. You learn something new every day :) Looking good! Keep posting new updates and photos! How are you going to mold in the hood vents, since the gen2 hood has a little depression in those locations so that they...

    Most fun car ever?

I have a GenII, which is a blast to drive, but my first car was a little 4 banger Honda with stick shift, and although it wasn't super fast, it put a smile on my face every time I drove it. I loved that little car :D

    Most fun car ever?

I hear that a lot...Power is great, up to a certain point, after that it just becomes scary. It's nice to be able to accelerate out of corners without having to fear for your life every time you put the foot down. :D

1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 Bankruptcy Seizure For Sale - Talk About Miles!

If the owner took care of his business the way he looked after his car, no wonder he filed for bankruptcy! Never seen those wheels on a Viper before... I guess if someone picks up the car really cheap, they could invest a few bucks and fix it up.
