    I bought a set of the layovers for all my lights, but for the life of me, could not get them to go on worth a damn. I know people use them and if you put them on correctly, they look great. I just don't have the skills to put them on. Painting was much better for me.

    Probably just did a sanding job (especially judging by the runs underneath the lights). You have to paint it, then sand it, then paint it then sand it, then rubbing compound, then polish, then wax. It's just like painting a car.

    Nightshades works pretty well, and if you do it too dark, or decide you don't like it anymore, it comes off with gasoline. I assume the clear with a little black would come off also. I left my third brake light completely stock though, so that it is still as bright as it's always been.

    Do some research on the subject. A radar gun throws a much wider path of waves and your detector can pick it up much easier when he's shooting anywhere near you.     It's just too scary for me with people driving too fast (I had a Prius riding my bumper and flashing their lights at me to get out of the way when I drove it). If you're into that sort of thing, I guess it could be fun. ;)
