Heck Yeah! He can provide lunch, then we can use his 2 post lift to put on new brake pads! Afterwords, we can go up to his theatre and watch the new Gen V when it is racing in the ALMS on the 108" (or maybe it is 120") screen! Great idea!!! :D
Good to see everybody again, we had a good Viper showing this month (there were others scattered about the lots as well). Sometime in the future we should take a cruise after C&C thru the forest and have some lunch on the water in Conroe! :)
FYI, the ACR suspension / tire combo is stiff compared to a coupe or a vert even when the shocks are set to full soft. Something to consider if you will be using it as a DD.
I know Keels and Wheels is going on also, but is anyone going to C&C? I am planning on it.
Anyone who bought/claimed stuff from my spring cleaning, I will bring it to C&C if you plan on making it.
Re: Get to know your Viper: On lift service review for each generation Sunday, April
He is sounding like a sore loser, huh Andy! :D
I love it when a stock Viper beats two modified ones.... :)
Re: Get to know your Viper: On lift service review for each generation Sunday, April
You better leave on honk 1 this time if you are going to beat us.... ;)
Reminder to all, GTS cargo mat still for sale. For those who have brought stuff and I still have it, lets get it outta my house, spring cleaning time is about over.... :D
You're not doing anything wrong, they do break at times. Mine failed twice within a year also, so I decided to revise the system to prevent it from happening again. I took the whole pedal assembly out, drilled a hole thru the pin you show in the above pictures, put a plastic bushing over the...
I run PSC's Allan. There are a few ACR owners around Houston that run R6's now (that started off on PSC's) and say the R6's are much faster. I've never run R6's (mostly because I am scared I will like them)... :D
I would guess you would throw more rocks on the paint with R6's. If it was a short trip to the track, I think you would be okay, but at the distances you are talking about, I would advise against it. Since track days are your only hobby and you don't drive your Viper on the street anymore, I...
X2 on what MTGTS said.
I have faced the same problem, I drive mine to and from the track, so I have had to stick with PSC's. The R6's are faster than the PSC's at the track.
