I sold one of my TT Viper to a man in NH 2 yrs ago and he was never able to get it thru the inspection because it has the AEM Programmer on it......Vipers with that on there wont pass the emissions test.... I just a few months ago bought it back... well he loved the Viper but had no choice but...
also if you read the forum on here about the person just receiving word on his order for his STRYKER VIPER being with Canadian specs built for Canada for him....do you think his is worth less because of it? I sure don't believe so........I am very happy for that person.....
I bought a 1996 GTS from a man in Montreal........It was a Canadian spec Viper...... I registered it here in Florida and loved it.....IT only had about 9000 mi on it when I got it.........I felt the Canadian spec car was worth more to everyone, especially if it was a collector type person...
I bought a new 2006 RSI TWIN TURBO SRT 10 in Jan 06 from Ringgold Dodge and I loved that Viper....They did beautiful work.....

My very first Viper was a 1997 GTS I bought in 1998.....I took it to the dealer for this mod and after that changing the oil filter was a pain......It would NOT drop straight down like the rest of my gen 2 Vipers.....like mentioned here......I am just now finding this out all these years later...

PAINTED........I had a 1997 GTS that I had them painted on to include thru the tag area.....too me it looked GREAT and you could not feel the edges because they put on several coats of clear......
