Yes, that VIPER emblem is NOT the correct one for that year. That's the one they put on the newer Vipers. The gen 2 emblem is smaller letter size with GTS on the end. They took the SRT 10 part off before they put that one on. Some Gen 2 Viper owners are going that route. :headbang:  :eater:
Hey......That is how Mr Gasket got started.....He made his own gaskets at the track for his race car and other people asked him to make them one and it took off from there.....:headbang:
I was in the Marines in the jungle in VietNam Sep 66 thru May 68. I didn't realize you are in IRAC..Be safe and come home and enjoy your Viper. Is that why avatar is lotsamud? Keep your head down! We will pray for you! :drill::usa::dig::thankyou: That's a big Thank You for serving our country...
In the owners manual for my old 1997 GTS, it actually said that the 1997 GTS will run a 12.80 1/4 mi....(It NEVER said 12.20's), however my GTS was bone stock with the street tires and ran 12.20s -12.30s all day... It ran 7.80s 1/8th mi all day.
In my present 1998 Viper Owners manual it...
Welcome to the VCA. Just my 2 cents about the vinyl stripes on a Viper. Don't do it...Wait until you can have them painted on. All Vipers stripes are painted on so I would just leave it alone for now. It is a beautiful Viper already. My OPINION!!! :nono:  :eater:
EXACTLY!!! There have been alot of wrecks just because someone decided to be TOO COURTEOUS. Next time we need to just let the other driver wait and we need to KEEP MOVING. :nono:
Plum, No it's not raised, but that replacement sticker looks exactly like the one on there and it sticks, on mine anyway, perfectly fine. You won't be able to tell any difference at all.
I always use newspaper/masking tape and cover everything I don't want paint on, after I wipe the calipers off real good, and use some High Temp Caliper paint from Auto Zone for about $4.00 and spray paint the front caliper and it looks great to me, then for the rear I always order say from Parts...
I put my new plug wires on today and I really like the wires. They are top quality, look good and really was not to hard to put on as I was being led to believe. My car runs AWESOME, don' skip a beat, and I am ready to cruise......  :drive:
Looks like a Vette because it is a Vette! Look at the wheels, side profile, emblems, etc. It's parked in the right place because the VIPER is suppose to be in the GARAGE! :headbang: :eater:
Seeing as how your wife is a consultant......it makes all the sense in the world to CONSULT with her, wouldn't everyone think? :dunno:  :rolaugh: :lmao: :eater:
The Prowler in it's day was according to Plymouth about new $38,000.. WHO in their right mind would pay $75,000 for a PROWLER when they can use that money and buy a really nice VIPER...I think that lady is in dream land..Her PROWLER is ONLY worth that much to HER...ha....She is in serious...
