ViperVass--
There have been several tutorials on oil changes-proper jacking methods- chassis lubrication on the VCA site- try a search in the search thread section. I know all that valuable info is on this site in past threads. The Viper is really very easy to do basic maintenence on. Check...
My "collector car" policy is void if the car is even in the parking lot of a track or race facility. Be very careful and read your policy very carefully--Dave

Thanks so much for your wealth of knowledge--God I love the VCA!!
I talked more with John Gastman at Roanoke Motors-- He told me that the Gen 5 has, in effect, a battery cut off mode that drastically reduces battery drain compared to the drain in my Gen 3 and Gen 4. Based on your...
The only issue with not getting the ACR interior, is that if you buy the ACR interior the Carbon ceramic brake package is included at no cost. If you do a 1 of 1 without the ACR interior, then you will have to pony up $8500.00 to get the carbon ceramic brake package. I know this sounds wrong...
I deeply appreciate the feedback--another great reason why I value the VCA!!
I talked with John Gastman who told me that the battery box is the same on an ACR which would mean a standard battery could be used, however the aforementioned weight issues would be involved.
I wonder if a standard...
I'm told a 3-4month wait--I used John Gastman at Roanoke Motors. I know John--bought my 2010 from him. His service is wonderful.
Thanks for the replies--I'm thinking the same thing that the battery box will be the same--just a different battery construction.--Dave
Does anyone have any info on the the lithium ion battery in the new ACR? I've ordered a new ACR and was wondering about battery life and I was wondering if the battery fits in the standard size Viper battery box? One reason for the question is to determine if, down the road, a regular battery...
I also called Bob Bondurant regarding the switch to SRT vehicles and was told the switch would be done around Feb 15th. They were waiting for the fleet of SRT's to be delivered. I did not know that the SRT driving experience would also be done there in Phoenix. I'm most happy to hear that as I...
I made a set from clear lexan--used a sheet from Home Depot--made a cardboard templet to get the shape I wanted--cut out the lexan and was good to go. Being clear they are not really obtrusive at all. Could paint them if desired. Total cost about $10.00 for front and rear--Dave
God am I lucky--my wife says buy whenever I see a car I like. She loves cars, Sebring races, and cruises. Most of her girl friends are the same way. Maybe it's southern women--don't know--Dave

Let's have an event to see your shop and a couple turbo Viper installs. There are Vipers here in Sarasota--I think that I can come up with ten names or so here in town. Lot's of the guys still work and have families which severely limits " Viper Time" That being said, I know an event...
I'm not sure why the Viper is in the position that it's in with the public. Here in Sarasota we go through "car fads" on a regular basis--now the Porsche is the Sarasota "chevy"--used to be any Mercedes. So you would think that folks here are car conscious--not so--my Vipers are constantly...
