I totally agree with you! We brought our dyno run from just 2 days earlier, and we inquired with Car and Driver about setting up a dyno event to measure the REAL POWER these cars were putting to the ground. They replied that there was no dyno nearby and that the AWD car (Porsche, GMC truck)...

Yeah. It looks like HMS was similar to us in that their fastest overall time did not necessarily reflect their optimum acceleration, 1/4 mile times.

Although I can't speak for anyone else, I can tell you that we did run in the mid 11s at over 130mph. The numbers quoted in the magazine reflect only 1 run; the fastest overall run for the event. Whatever your times were for this particular run, were the ones quoted. Although this run (#4 of 5)...
Great question...There are a number of different dimensions to compare the packages. LPE has a great reputation; they build quality packages, and have some great talent. John Lingenfelter is truly a class act.

I would highly recommend that you weld in an additional bung to your exhaust system, and use it for measuring 02 using a high quality A/F analyzer/monitor.
We do not recommend that you remove your O2 sensors and replace with the A/F monitor O2. Depending on the bank you use (primary/secondary)...

Add stock cats (more restrictive than high flows= less noise) first. If still too high, try adding another set of mufflers. You may make it with just the cats.
It does take a little getting used to, but we have had no problems with the flywheels and we are making over 750hp and 840 tq.We recently inspected the flywheel and our dual kevlar clutch after some 1/4 mile trips and burnouts and found no abnormal whatsoever. Looked new.
