I've never heard of overheating as a problem with any Viper. Corvettes maybe, but they're tops come off when needed! :D
SRTs just drive smoother and are more refined, aiside from the looks of course.
Keep that boost down, and enjoy what power you have! Dave says 8, I'd say 7 always, with a bump up for short term if wanted.
Congrats. Ain't boost a blast!! :headbang:
Geez here we go again with the which model looks better talk. Please stop with the crap.
It has been discussed 1 million times and every time the GTS wins. So accept it and let's move on!! :D
MILF magnet, that was a good one!! :D
If you want a ultra clean Viper. You should call Bernie at BJmotors as already suggested, as well as the others that support the Viper Community.
If you are trying to save money and don't mind doing your homework, Ebay, autotrader etc.
I would suggest the first options, get a clean Viper from...
I would bet that is the GTS from Southlake Dodge. I know the owner there, and checked out this GTS for one of the gang here. It was VERY clean. The owner ended up wholesaleing it. It had quite a few less miles when I looked at it last spring ( if I remember correctly ).
Super car for a...
Re: Missin\' the Viper...
Go pick up a GEN III vert for $55k, order that great looking HardTop that was shown off here a short while ago, send it to Heffner for an additional 600hp (1100HP), and screw waiting around! :2tu:
Scratch that itch BAT!! :D
Paolo,
I do not have a dyno sheet since the upgrades. It's not my car anymore. And I am trying to help out, not trying to get too involved with it all.
My guess would be that Jason took care of it properly like normal when all the upgrades were done. So I'm sure it's built for the power...
I had them chromed in Cali, not Cal Chrome though. If I remember correctly it was Reed Chroming. I bought the wheels from a guy that lived 15 minutes from them, so it was easy to do, they turned out real nice. I do not have the paperwork anymore though, went with the car.
I paid $125 a...
I do understand Jon, it really doesn't do me any good to help sell it for the current owner and seeing how it has been advertised, I wouldn't have touched it myself.
I personally, am looking into something else for my next toy, if I was looking for another Viper, I probably would buy it...
Think of buying it back? I flinched once or twice. Considering I could buy it back at what I sold it for, and it's got $18k more work done on it. Yeah, just not the right move for me right now! :D
The car has not been "shown" well. It has been for sale by the current owner on various sites, all with the same Presentation, and not a good one. The owner just doesn't want to spend the time to squeeze out a few bucks.
Owner likes cars and understands he won't be able to dominate the...
