    I made a lot of drag passes in my '97 on 4 different drag strips. All were on the factory tires except for one day. Some tracks do a decent track prep, others don't. At best, I was able to run in the 12.0's at 117-118 bone stock. Never could make that magical 11 second pass on street tires...

    Anyone have the Brownline torque wrench???

    I bought one. Same review as FrgMstr. Like he said, be aware of the "timeout" or you could over torque the next fastener expecting to hear the beep.

    Ported heads, cam swap, headers, tune. It will sound awesome and run like a scalded dog.

    My '97 GTS went 11.78 at 120mph with 436 rwhp. Only mods were resonator and rear muffler delete, smooth tubes, and K&N air filters. I also had old Hoosier DOT track tires on it. 60' was a 1.76.

    It's a great fuel for forced induction applications. Not so much for normally aspirated unless you're engine has high compression.

    It happens a lot and there are rules in most if not all forms of road racing governing those situations. The offender will get some type of penalty unless it's deemed a "racing incident".

    Perhaps for us mere mortals. $2020 at the track at Viper Cup events which includes mounting, balancing, and engineering support according to NARRA's website. Hoosier R100's about the same cost. Only available in 18's in Viper sizes though.
