This car won't pull any Porsche owners to speak of. This is going down the same path as the Jeep SRT8, which is not exactly flying off the shelves. It's slower than the competition, it's over priced for what it is, and SRT is full of excuses. I like Ralph and respect what he has done, but there...
I hear ya. Ferrari though has a huge presence around the world. If you look at the USA production numbers I doubt they are that high. Even so, if SRT makes a convertible with a different rear, an ACR, and GTS-R street, then I could see up to 2000 units a year. But that's it. If the Viper becomes...
The car looks better in these pics. Some pics it looks very goofy and confused, others it looks sharp.
The GTS-R on the other hand looks amazing at every angle, in every pic.
Did someone seriously just say that the LEDs are used to let other drivers know you are coming for SAFETY!? Sir, come here, I have an ocean front villa in Kansas I can sell you.
LED strips in the front are a fad. Just like matte is a fad. Just like blacked out cars are a fad. Just like pin...
Wow. I know it's just a game but it's sad how much more aggressive the Gen IV looks. It makes the front of the Gen V look plain.
Gen IV front and Gen V sides/rear look best
Nice looking Austin. Even if they refuse to do a full GTS-R style body, just a little widebody treatment would help...let's say 1-2" on each side in the rear. The front width is fine as is. Look at the huge difference it made for the C6. Base is weak. Zo6/ZR1 are very aggressive
Agreed Austin. Matte is a fad, and it's going out of style. Just like blacked out...or what the children call "murdered". Matte was cool when nobody had it or even knew what it was. But it's not 2008 any more.
Pin striped wheels were a fad. Blacked out was a fad. Concave wheels are a fad. If...
Looks good. I still want to know why it has those sidemarkers? I thought you only needed them if you were over the legal width?????
Also, it's good it has 18/19s instead of 19/20s. This is suppose to be a serious performance car. SRT has pleased the girly crowd enough. Vipers don't need bling...
Well if Forza is any indicator I won't be holding my breath. It really does appear Ferrari wasn't about to allow the underling Viper to surpass it's high price exotic lineup. SRT will never admit it but I am really beginning to think that's what happened.
That's because they increased the front width by a few inches I think without balancing out the rear proportionally. Even those it's closer it's still not as wide as the rear. If you remember the mules they had a wider front with the same rear.
Well said. SRT knows better. $137k optioned out is priced WAY out of market for this car. It's a nice ride, but there is nothing ground breaking with it. RIght now the Dual Clutch and AWD cars are what's hot. At $137k you are in their back yard.
Yes. It used Gen II tail lights that didn't match the rest of the car. The trunk lines soiled the rear with huge panel gaps. The fenders wrapped around the tail light awkwardly. The whole design looked like an afterthought, because it was. If you remember, there were no set plans for a coupe...
The Gen V rear looks much better in these pics. The SRT coupe looks like it was done by some aftermarket company for SEMA. The rear never made sense. The Gen V looks like **** when it sits like a 4X4, but once it's lowered it has that nice exotic stance.
The rear still seems to have the SRT Huge Ass problem. The SRT coupe had a huge rear end that looked tall and bulky. Hopefully it will look more aggressive in person, but in these pics it has a weak road presence. A little extra width in the rear would fix the balance issues so the car doesn't...
