No excuses necessary. Don't start talking like the vette guys when the ACR destroyed their beloved ZR1. The fact was, the ZR1 cost more so Chevy had the budget to best the ACR's performance. It just turned out that their formula didn't produce the numbers that the Viper did.
Now both cars...
Everyone relax!!!! Who cares about it not being close to the fastest in its class? Who cares if it's marginally faster than its predecessor? It has laguna interior! It has cupholder options! It has a digital dash! It has a 739 speaker sound system! It has a 8.4" navigation screen with pretty...
Had you not posted your unnecessary Question and Answer I might have given you some credit. Please save your political plugs for the niketalk forum or maybe ESPN.com. They'd appreciate that over there. On a forum composed of business owners, professionals, and winners that jab isn't going to be...
Viper only because I don't do old body styles. The Gallardo is a car made for midgets so it's not an option. My buddy is 6'1" lean and looks like a stuffed sausage in it. At 6'6" getting into a convertible gallardo with the roof down is a challenge. If it was between 458 and Gen V I'd take the...
Re: Convertible option for 2014....???
Fingers crossed for a different rear end. Coupe rear does not fit the vert IMO. It looks like an afterthought...because it is
6'6" 270, very proportional torso-legs. Gen II GTS was the roomiest I've been in. SRT Vert was a nightmare. Took me 10 minutes every time I got in for the claustrophobia to settle. Glad my old man sold it. I was really hoping the Gen V would pick up some serious room but it doesn't sound like it. :(
Only American "supercar" I know of is the SSC Ultimate Aero. The rest are just "exotics". You sheeple and your silly car names "Supercar" now means anything with over 400HP. Now we have "hyper car", "super SUV", "super yacht", "mega yacht", "ultra car" etc. etc. It really is amusing watching...
Please go away. The Viper will never have it's V10 replaced for a V8. It can't. It's not a Viper otherwise. SRT may make another sports car to fill the gap but the V10 isn't going away.
The same thing goes for Lamborghini and their top of the line cars. V12 or bust.
Hopefully you're right. Every picture I've seen of the yellow SEMA Viper looks like that. If it is open, the difference between it being open and closed is negligible.

It's another reason why I hate the departure from the GTS glass hatch. The SRT coupe looks terrible with all of those unnecessary gaps/lines. I'll live with the occasional leak and potential rattling. The visual pollution is far worse. Then again, I'm just spinning my wheels. That would be a...
A lot of people don't care about that stuff. They just want the extra seat motion.
What if you want all of the GTS features without the adjustable suspension? As in non-girly men who plan on doing aftermarket coilovers but would like the updraded interior...
Is it possible to get the SRT...
Very cool brochure. My only gripe is the 4X4 ride height appears to have returned. The white GTS should look squatty from the rear and instead it looks jacked up.
Also, SRT take note all Gen V coupes will be referred to as "GTS" from now on. The name difference is stupid. One model, a ****load...
I'd really like to see the track pack wheels in silver finish. It's a great design and a pitty to hide them under excessive brake dust..oops I mean black wheels
Cool stuff. I really the spoiler and x brace. I still can't get over the Cadillacesque engine covers. SRT needs to get rid of that plastic garbage for the mid cycle refresh. Viper engine needs to look menacing.
