To start with I was talking about a STOCK busa Next yr the 08 is supose to be quite a bit faster, I think it has like 30 more HP thats quite a bit on a bike. I bet it is VERY fast, alot faster then my 07 but once again I was talking about a 99-07 busa.- FastMatt

I can tell you this, the Busa gains speed very slow after 170mph. I don’t see how a STOCK busa could ever hit 212mph with how long it takes to go from 170 to 186 to get to 212 it would take 100 miles of road lolol. Also I have a buddy that has a stock ZX-14 and he can kill my busa from any...- FastMatt

well seeing how, I own and ride a 2007 Hayabusa. I think it will depend on from what speed the race is from and to. From a stop I think so, from 100mph-up I think the Viper is faster, and of corse the Viper has a higher top speed (hell Stock the viper had a higher top speed)- FastMatt

steeper gears lower you Dyno RWHP #'s because of added friction. And it's not much but it does have a effect. Stock vipers or close to stock vipers seem to loose 10-12 rwhp be going from stock gears to 3.55's.- FastMatt

A quick search in google gave me a stock weight for a 2001 gts being 3,280lb(1,488 kg). (is this correct???) So lets say the car is now 3150 with the lighter wheels/Exhaust/FW ect, and if there is a 15% DL loss in power that puts me at 720 crank HP that gives me a power to weight of 4.375 lb/...- FastMatt

I was wondering the same thing. It may have gotten close. I'm still running the stock TB's also, anybody know if porting the TB's on a set-up like this will add power or not?- FastMatt

I have "test" pipes on it now, I had 3" HF cats on it for a wile, I did not Dyno it with the 3" cats on it but when I took them of it realy did feel like it lost a bit of lo-end.- FastMatt

I know the specs on the cam, but I promised Jeff I would not let it out. But it's his normal street cam for the striker heads. It's really not that radical on the street. I have not got the car to the Dyno yet, but the car is a monster on the street. The 355/25R19's are totaly usless in 1st and 2nd gear (3.55 gears) in 1st as soon as you floor it you are banging the rev limitor, but get this puppy into 3rd and hold on. 355/25R19 Pirelli's or 345/30R19 Ps2's?
Looks like PS2's are going to be going on the next tire change... The pirellis hooked up alot better then the 335 PS that came on the 18" stock wheels.- FastMatt

How long does a Viper take to sell?
cars like this are just a pain in the ass to sell. you can wait a yr or so for the right buyer to come along or sell it so cheep that it makes you sick. in 2002 I sold me 2000 GTS ACR for $55K with 19K miles. Selling it cheep was the only way to move it. I sold my Lotus last yr for $20,000...- FastMatt

Thanks for the info! Ya steeper gears will lower Dyno #'s. Man that thing would be over 600 most likely with stock gear, and a few more bolt on's. That is sick for a N/A car you just fill up with 91 oct and go… I bet it’s a blast to drive.- FastMatt

Again I'm impressed Were there any other mods? Throttle bodies? UD pulleys? Alum Flywheel? Gears? PS I love the seal gray, I had a 2000 SG with stripes ACR back in 2000. I have a 2001 GTS now. I sold it to a guy in CA you man know him.- FastMatt
