    I've had both, and while its a little noiser in the Vert, you'll find the difference to be neglible because the Viper is just a loud car all around.

    No it sits a little taller. It just feels more comfortable in your hand and while shifting.

    While the ergonomic knob looks a little goofy, I absolutely prefer it. I've replaced both of my round MGW knobs (preinstalled when I bought each Viper) with the ergonomic knob, so I've had considerable seat time with each one.
