That is great! Thanks. Now has anyone refinished or touched up scratches on the dash pad? Looks like a special finish coat on the dash surface?- pauls

Anyone take their dash out?
Scuffed the dash a little while taking the shifter out (laid the console against it). Don't know if I can sand on the scratches and ever get the finish back? Otherwise need to put in a replacement dash cover to make it right. How much is entailed in getting the dash pad out? Air bags...- pauls

Goal of 500 rwhp or 11.5 et in the quarter or 130 trap
60ft is key. Stock Viper with DR or ET Streets should go real close to your goal. About a 1.50 sixty should do it. PS: Invest in upgraded halfshafts!- pauls

Did you read my post? I'm not looking to steal someones car! "I'm looking for a high mileage or track car GTS to convert to a street/drag car." I'd like to find a theft recovery, light salvage, ex race car or a car with a bad motor priced accordingly. I don't expect to find a 15K mile...- pauls

Vec 2 problem? or something else?
I have a VEC 2 in my 96 GTS. Occassionally, it makes the car go flat, like a limp mode. I have my Zero card (stock) program in Sometimes when I start the car after storage it runs flat and will miss. Recently, at the Ohio Zone event it did the same thing while drag racing, the next morning...- pauls

The street performance version of these tires qualify for OEM Drag times and Stock class in Auto X. We won't allow the any track versions like the P Zero Corsa or Nitto "NT" series.- pauls

We'll allow other brands that are "street" replacements for OEM Pilots in the AutoX stock class. NO DOT type soft compounds allowed in stock. Like R compound BFG, Kumho, Toyo, Goodyear RS, Michelin Sport Cup, shadow tread tires etc. For the Drag Race award on OEM street tires the same rules...- pauls

Drag Racers get teched in Friday if possible. We'll have two or three sessions on Fri, one maybe two on Sat morning. Racing starts 2:30/3 Sat. Classes will be index based (ie 12.00, 12.50, 13.00) Have to pick one and run that index ET all day, NO Changes. Special awards for low ET on OEM tires...- pauls

1.375 was a perfect run driving thru the clutch at BG VOI back in early 2000s with MT tires. Could of been a miss print but my car regularly went low 1.40s in the sixty so this was a perfect run to the sixty but not far below what I usually go.
