    Window sticker for 96 GTS. Can I get a copy?

    Chrysler has a reprint program, unfortunately our cars are too old to take advantage of it. I think the only option is to have one of the members with an original, to make a copy, if they are so inclined. Good luck on your search.

    Thanks everyone! Ron, that is very interesting information. My hood switch is by the coolant tank so I can assume that I don't have the update. I would much rather have the lights flash than have the horn bleet.

    That or it is trunk vault made from steel....I just thought it interesting. The piece should weigh no more than 5lbs. It is most likely flat, like an oversized poster, but you pay shipping on it as if it were 30lbs. Interesting....

    Track day question?

    That is bogus method of measuring sound. Very few cars could pass that test. Laguna Seca has a sound limit of 92db. However, If I understand it properly, the microphone is 50ft from track edge. From what I have read, many tracks in the US have the microphone placed 100ft away.

    You can't go wrong with Unitrax. They are also the US distributor for the Yellow Box Speedo Correction kit you will need after the gear swap. You can drop the diff and send it to them or make the road trip as Paul mentioned. The road trip is easier....

    K&N Smooth Tube and filters Squeal?

    Interesting! I haven't heard it with mine, but I would check to make sure the intake tubes are sealed tight on the airbox and throttle bodies. Could be that there is a small leak that whistles under vaccuum. Good luck!

    What's your estimated annual mileage?

    I don't know about that, I have had my Gen 2 for 52 months and have added 47K miles. That's around 11K miles per year. That's probably a bit above the average for any Gen Viper owner.

    My guess is Motor Trend is wrong! Ralph promised the GenV would not suck! Those were his exact words and a V8 Viper would definitely suck.....
