Hard to get any of us Carolina members to meet up.
Anyone interested in maybe doing a weekend meet maybe in April or May in Myrtle Beach? A little car talk and also a little get away for those who need a break :)
Or is everyone scared to put miles on their cars? :dunno:
Steve
It is single DIN where the stock setup is 1.5. Could put a faceplete around it, but would probably look cheesy.
You can install an RB1 in there if you don't have one already, that is what I just did in mine and that gives you satellite and GPS.
Not a bad sounding deal being currently the amount most private sellers will get for their low mileage 06's is around $50K (regardless what they think).
I received $34K on trade for my 04 vert with 30K miles in perfect shape which I thought was really low, but it took them several weeks to sell...
Interesting, but that is all on Dynojets. Compare those readings with those from a Mustang, Superflow, or some other brands and the results will differ. We see it everday at the shop.
Great results none the less :2tu:
Dyno numbers are cool when comparing car to car on the same dyno, but are all over the place when compare a run of a car on one brand dyno versus another car on another dyno. Nice to see both cars done at the same time, same dyno,so at least know what percentage of horsepower and torque the 2...
Maybe, or maybe its not an interesting topic :omg:
Anyway, tinted it a 40% street legal black tint. Looks pretty good and don't have to worry about the po-po :drive:
From what I found on researching is that 3M changed their film characteristics a couple of years ago and the yellowing and orange peel issue is supposed to have been dealt with.
I just had it put on my '08 so time will tell. At least it has a 5 year parts and labor warranty.
Has around 7000 miles. Car seems to be in great shape, but bought an extended warranty just in case.
Mercedes is cool, but not a brute sports car like the Viper. I like the Viper because it is a balls to the wall machine that doesn't make compromises on its purpose.
The major thing I...
I need to take some of the bikes- bought the F4 from a guy in Tom River NJ- red&silver 2005 with 600 miles.
My car is blue and silver and is the one used in the Edmunds Road test:
Full Test: 2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe
I just traded my '04 for the '08. Cooler inside and a nastier exhaust note. Transmission shifts much quicker and smoother, power increase is noticeable. I love the looks and performance of mine. Definitely gets 100X more looks than my 04 did.
Buy one at a bargain while you can :)
Hope to dyno in the next month or so- customers cars first :)
I guess yellow vipers melt in the rain because they are made from liquid sunshine :rolaugh:
I have a coupe that is GTS blue with silver stripes. Thinking of tinting the windows and in NC we are not allowed less than 35% tint. Any suggestions and/or pictures of what might look good?
Thanks,
Steve
