Thank you for your quick response. My engine is bone stock (now)part from the standard smoothbore and KN...but I really don't like the stock valve train setup with the none roller rockers....it hurts me just thinking of it....

Hi! The skip shift is a resistor (25 ohm) If your car is throwing P1719codes it's most propably the soldering or the resistor it self that's gone bad. You can easily replace it your self. I've had one where the connector pins were bad and one where the soldering had come loose.
Good luck...
Wow...That's really bad...I checked through the sparepart catalog last night (again)all the way back to 1993 year model and it clearly shows a key for the pulley...
Thank you very much for your input and advice.
I'm curios if the pully is really keyed to the crank on a stock Viper as illustraded in the spare part catalog? According to some people in the forum it not uncommen they come loose?? Mine is a 2000 GTS and the bolt I found on my snake was loose when I checked but the pully it self seemed fine...
I just had a look in my spare parts catalog for the snake and it shows a key for the damper - crank....part number 6034749..
Maybe this was introduced 2001 which is the model year of my catalog
:)I'm thinking of adding silver stripes to my solid red GTS -00.
Does anybody know the correct colour code of the silver stripes ?
I'm not going to paint them but whould still like the correct silver as per 1999 & 2000 year models. Also anybody know the dimensions and positioning on the car...
