As any good manager or leader it is Ralph's goal and responsibility to get his people as much bang for the buck as he can. I think by tomorrow everyone will be surprised by how much we are getting for how low a price. I think it is going to be lower than the majority here think.May be wishful...

That S7 is plain color not multi hue like Beryillium. Paint like Stryker Red is metal flake where coating on the flakes is unique and reflects light uniquely to change color at light angles and different shades. I know as I own the 95' Saleen "BASF Mystic Edition" Speedster and it uses this...
Actually that is just a red in the sunlight. I can tell you Stryker Red in the sunlight at the right angle makes the car look like it is plugged into the wall and on fire. Beautiful in the sunlight, boring in the shade. This is not Stryker Red.
Re: GenV design feature that I'm getting tired seeing copied in vehicle designs latel
No it is fresh from the Fiat 500. In fact looking at the two side marker lights, I think it is a Fiat 500 part. Cost for a replacement Fiat 500 part, probably $15, cost for replacement Viper part probably $150...

Don't buy into all the negativity and "arrogance" of a few angry men. There are plenty of great Viper owners in the club that do not share pure polarizing views on the new car. Wait until everything is worked out by SRT, then make your decisions. The car will be worth it. Each Gen has...
Bill at the Mile High Nationals, Ralph told the entire crowd that the car will not be produced in numbers greater than 2,000 when he introduced the cars to everyone. That seems a realistic maximum at the price points. I mean it will still be a hand assembled car right. That kind of limits things...
Pretty hard to step up and buy one with no price tag. Sure I could maybe commit and pay a fantasy price right now with Monopoly money. Does that help? Bottomline is it is getting a little silly to have a 2013 model car coming out (now almost September, 2012) with no price fricken' tag. For those...
Not sure of the personalized screen annoucements, and other fancy things, but I was just referring to good ole professional treatment support, standing behind their product, no haggle on getting stuff fixed, proper loaner car and knowledgeable factory trained SRT Viper technicians who fix it...
I appreciate that things will take time to change, BUT the dealer network has known this car has been coming out for over two years now. It was confirmed at VOI11, from what I remember. That has been plenty of time to get the cart to the horse for tuning up service support for not only the...
Where did I say the mechanic doing the work did not have experience working on Vipers? They would need to pony up cash to have an SRT certified tech on staff. This is part of new SRT requirements anyway. You would feel more comfortable with a mechanic who only works on Neons working on your...
As SRT will not be producing more than 2,000 per year, I serious doubt they will be on every corner. I mean we are lucky now if we even see another one when we drive and there are over 25,000 of them out there total. But I get the point of exclusivity as most other cars in my mini collection are...
Not to open up yet another can of worms or onslaught, but I would be perfectly happy to have Dodge award the SRT Viper Franchise to Ferrari of Denver and just keep it in the Fiat family. They have the new higher end showroom, already geared towards newer clientele and commitment to service is...
I believe the very simply fix on the regulators is that SRT pay for the new parts for the regulators and the owners pay for the labor to install them. On our Porsche Cayenne Turbos (who do have these quirks too), even outside of warranty, if we are relatively low miles (under the factory base...
Black GEN IV Vert was testing the GEN V suspension it had under the hood. I posted pictures in another section here.
I do not believe these cars go to the crusher. When they are done I believe they get the old crasher-roo for safety testing purposes. They are milked of everything they can give...
Bill;
I am not getting pulled into a "Bill pulled Sally's pig tails in the school yard" crap. There are things I do not like about the new car and some things I do. I voiced them in that early post which was not a horrible thing. Seeing the 2013 in person helped to remove some of those...
Sorry Smog Dog and Wikkid but when laying down 100+ large for a new car, service and support is a major concern. Maybe you guys have so much money in the family kiddy that you really don't care, but for the average Joe working hard and saving up for the new car, it is important. Was a complete...
If you are worried about the drivetrain, there are a ton of SRT-10 Rams out there with the same GEN III Motor and with over 100,000 miles. It is a very tough motor.
Austin is correct;
These are mules so they definitely do not represent the stock car height, nor the stock body gap in panels. Those will be tightened up greatly on production cars as can be seen with the red GTS NY Autoshow car. That car is closer in production gap and production stock height...
Okay thought I would continue the picture parade. Here are a few more shots from the Colorado High Altitude Testing of the new 2013 SRT Viper GTS from a month or so ago. The black GEN IV Vert' car is a very interesting mule. It weighed heavily on the development for the new GEN V. Yes that is a...
