My experience with soda( Never on a Viper) is it cleans aluminum very well with No damage, However it must be washed extremely well if there is any metal overlapping as the soda will sneak under the overlapping metal and it works its way out when paint is applied and then the paint flakes off...

When you have the windshield out again, I would check for a hump or crack in the frame where the glass is cracked with a straight edge and also make sure the installer puts a uniform depth of adhesive on the frame work before installing the glass. :D:D

Hollywood, A while ago Lloydminister had a VooDoo and Bonneville as well had a Voo Doo, Also there is a Final Edition ACR at Red Deer and Ft Mcmurray, Also Ft Mac has a SSG ACR as well. Might be worth the while to check out.:D:D
Not sure, But that looks to me as a housing that holds the filter bypass spring and valve. You would probably get a true reading by installing in the pan.:D:D
