Oh and the 1/4 time doesn't personally bother me, the thing that does is the continued lower than expected trap speeds. I was hitting 125mph in my gen3 for Pete's sake, with old stock runflats, an 11.NN is fine but a sub 125mph is just a wonder to me. But maybe at high altitude, or whatever.
Well just another bleh performance outcome. Not sure anyone cares at this point, its' gotten so much bad press, another result where Edmunds recommends the C7 over the Viper for performance isn't as bad as a Ford Focus beating it as a Driver's car.
Seems the white Vipers, other than Ralph's...
We should Tosh this, put 30 secs on the clock & see how many smart ass comments we can make -
The price is only $150K, the other $7.150M is dealer ADM.
It comes with matching tires front & rear; seat mounting bolts are the only options.
MT test data suggest the super viper is actually a...
For the street I way prefer the stick, for the track, no contest, paddles. So .. what would I like in the viper, tough one for me as I'd like to see both options. The problem I think is that with such limited production, would they make both options or focus on one and that's it, like they...
Man, I don't see how anyone can debate if the viper, any gen, especially the V, is a drivers car?? It's the definition of a drivers car, in fact it's too much a drivers car for many people. The only debate is WTH was SRT doing sending them a beat up mule of a miss-matched car and not a TA or...
Yep, that's it, have this kit in my Gen4. If someone has a question about it, let me know. Now, what the hell this has to do with the gen5 and the CF interior pkg, I have no idea.
This forum needs better face-palm emoticons.
Interesting, I've not had this as a complaint per se on my other vipers, of course spirited driving chugs it & it's hard to not drive in a spirited manner. For my GT500, on top gear they referred to its fuel tank as a fuel thimble, & they're right. Although on one long drive I managed in the...
Yea, this is actually why I posted this one being a little "ouch". Just because SRT gave us a benchmark, which we know will swag around. So this one was 40-50hp down, that could all be dyno, just sayin I'd be a little hmm on that number and I'm not a dyno guy myself, I like checking trap speed.
I'm in love. That liquid looking silver flows so nice, with some dramatic black, oh my, oh, oh, o o , oops. Well, that's embarrassing, excuse me a minute.
Wow, man, that is just wrong. IMO, you sould definitely cancel, they don't deserve your business on a '13 and what maybe it'll set you back another month or something, worth it for a newer yr and all.
Yea I find so many guys on line that are doing trackdays in the exact way I am, etc., here and other forums, even with the bikes. But everyone is all over the country. I swear I'm always alone at trackdays. I mean you meet nice folks there and talk, share some shade etc., but wish the world...
Using LC best was 11.63@124
Without LC best was in the 11.9X@122
MPH was consistent no matter in the 122-123 range, slow was a 119 but it broke loose in 3rd bad so it was my fault.
The little 285s are a real challenge, if you really heat them up they get a lot better versus greasy, but it's...
I had a CTS-V for a about 14 mos, I loved it, drove the ass out of it, did Corsa and shifter and that was it to have plenty of fun & the fam loved it too. I just moved on because for a daily driver I wanted a vert option. If they did a V version in a vert with smae perf, I'd seriously consider...
That's a neat new feature on the gen5, when you stump the throttle the brake lights come on. What a fail.
Well, at least it's flattering that they're using the gen5 as the benchmark to fake being as fast as. And they didn't even kill anyone on that road with other cars all around them. Props...
