    Gen 5 wheel hop

    I had some on my gen3 and gen4, but that was mostly when I off wrong, like Tony says, most wheel hop is a result of driver error. Unless you have a 2003/4 Cobra mustang, in which case it's he joke of an IRS. Gen5, 1,000 miles and so far not a hint of wheel hop.

    Since it was my first time out in the gen5 I didn't actually use the electronic stuff, I just turned it all off. I'm used to tracking vipers since 99 so I didn't want something throwing me off. Next time I want to try using the track setting for stability and push it out and see what she does...

    Downshift to brake?

    Agree. On my Buell track bike I had the race PCM and it tuned out all engine breaking, downshifting essentially did nothing to slow the bike, to ensure it wouldn't upset the bike on decel, coupled with slipper clutch, which is also doing the same thing.     SRT driving experience

    Are there any seat lowering kits yet for the GenV?

    SnakeOyl has a solution shipping soon, lowers the seat 2.5" with height adjustment, not an endorsement just FYI, although I've used their lowering kits on previous gens & they've been the ticket. Posted on 'other' club site for info in gen5 area for reference.
