At least it's not chrome, not until Bieber buys one anyway. It is a little played out, but I do get it, it's mad max like and different - although not so much any more. I wouldn't do it, but yea, I get what they're shooting for with it. But, I'm more mad max than lime green or yellow, lol...- DMan

Do You Know How Hot Your Sills Run
Just never get out, I mean once you get in a gen5 you don't want to get out, so ... ;-) Thanks for sharing, 140 seems like an improvement, you could probably have hotter spots on the car from sun exposure. I'd think a little strategic heat wrap and a Corsa pipe and you'd have the coolest...- DMan

I do. You don't need any of that. Less than 600 mis on the clock I baselined my 2014, bone stock (including crappy tires) at 11.63 ET. Drag radials alone should take care of the gen5 in a straight line. Even top speed is about the same GT500 at 202mph. With a $1200 invesment the GT500 makes...- DMan

Gen V Test Drive - Just Curious
You can always go SRT model and then do a suspension so you can dial it in how you like. Common mod. Could be an 'over time' mod choice.- DMan

If you think the Shelby is too rough a ride in comfort mode (yes I had a 2011 and now a 2014 Shelby with the track and perf pkgs), then I can tell you as a gen4 owner and having driven a gen5, the new viper is not for you. Just Picked UP White/Gunmetal Stripes Gen V

I don't know if we officially know, good question, or if options will change through the ordering year. Info has been another frustration IMO. You're right, which is why it's not put me out yet. Just like you can get a super cool set of rims from DV8 vs the TP wheels and it'd be great. But, I was really excited they had my exact desire, from the factory, and I love the TP wheels in black. I'm just disappointed I lost my perfect...- DMan
