    You're telling me, you could imagine my frustration having this issue with a 14 after what I went through with my 13. This issue was going on then.

    mine is doing it to, it's at the dealer now they say it's a faulty switch. they said a new part number has come out as the old switch was susceptible to water intrusion. they are replacing with old switch to get me back in the car and will install new and improved switch when it arrives.

    what weight oil is everyone running?

    I bought a 14 SRT. Solid black with the hyper black rattler wheels. All 3 carbon upgrade packages, upgraded stereo, red seats. I also got the dealer to get me the 2 piece stop tech rotors and door sills. I'll start a thread with pics this week.

    This is exactly why they shouldn't be pulling out of races and should ramp up marketing. They spent all this time and money building a beautiful kick ass car and they don't market the hell out of it.

    this is a great thread and the gen V viper is an amazing car. i truely believe this should be expected though, the car was in hiatus for 3 years then had a mediocre luanch. i do think it's just going to take a couple of years before sales increase a great deal. People have to see these cars...

    i had a gen V, it was a LE and was bought back as a lemon. i would have then and still would today buy another they were able to be modded. I don't have a problem with the price, styling, or pressence i hated not having options to mod it. i am a modder and always will be.
