A few pics of Shelby Rose on my RT/10.......

Nice one Baz, you don't hang about getting little-legs out there polishing huh! Sitting her out there on your soft cotton polishing cloth, so as she wriggles and kicks her legs she buffs and blings your RT, cool I like it!

Best Tire For Street Use With Roe S/C

Kuhmo's, I will never buy anything else again! Yeah, you will get gravel rash, so use protection! I just put Michelins back on to 'use' them up after running Kuhmo's for the summer. Weather's a few degrees lower these last few days here (cooler tire temps, and blower motor making more lovin...

Kudos to 40 mm rear calipers

After over 6 years of Viper ownership, this is the first year / summer that I have finally found the brake set up on my Viper for the track that I was desperately looking for (on a budget)! I do not care about dusty black wheels, they wash, and I would rather have that...than a Viper that...

Chrome VIPER RT/10 emblems on rear??????????

Baz, we put a side-hood chromie on Joel's but left off the "GTS" so it was just "Viper" that way it didn't appear too big / long, or have to bend too much around the curve. Just tried to search for a pic I have of it, but can't find one quick. Looked OK! Do it, less RT/10! ;)

    this Weekend pics

Nice pics as always Neil, thanks. I was sorry to have missed the show, but had to work with big spending coming up at VOI soon! That silver snake down the side of the red GTS, does look cool. Barbwires looking good too.

    Roe S/C ordered

Tires for me = Khumos, they are the way to go. You will love the Roe blower, you reach such speeds so quick you have to take a second glance at the mph to check...am I really...oh my! Mine doesn't scare me yet, hmmm, time to think about some NOS maybe?!

    Tranny fluid volume concern . . .

Tranny is supposed to hold 4 qts, but I only ever get about 3 3/4 qts into mine. I would pull the fill plug again and check where the levels at now, just to reassure.

    Drag tire virgin questions!

I'm looking to get my first pair of drag tires, was going to go for 17" MT street radials, in the hope of hooking up / better traction at the strip! I've no drag tire experience...if you had 2 'identical' launches in the same car, but, one time with MT radials, the next time with MT bias ply...

UNSOLVED MIStery. For those who want a challenge, I need major help.

As the man himself says...give Dan Cragin a call! I had problems with fuel supply and injectors, he sorted me out with a better fuel system and better injectors. Thanks Dan. Jacks comments are also spot on.

    Hi speed pass. (Nadine's?)

Re: Hi speed pass. (Nadine\'s?) Have to wait for Neil UK to wake (I'm working nights)! If it was me (?) sorry I can't post, it's Neil that's into all this computer and vid post know-how! Probably taken last year; my high speed pass this year at mile shoot out event was coasting (!) I bust the...

    Raw fuel

Thanks Tom, yeah that was my question as to whether an O2 would be permanently fouled by raw fuel present in the exhaust gases. 'Learn something new everyday' ...interested in reading the posts (thanks Jack) on raw fuel present displaying the lean condition, this solves some puzzles for me with...

    Raw fuel

If raw fuel gets out past a cylinder, how does this affect the OE O2 / lambda sensors, does it 'F' (mess) them up; or can they handled a cylinder not firing? If it does mess them, will they respond to cleaning up?

    Drag tires

Thanks. Looking to get a pair of 17" MT street radials! If you had 2 'identical' launches in the same car, but, one time with MT radials, the next time with MT bias ply, how much of an improvement in 60' time and hooking up could you expect to get with the bias plys? Thanks.

    Metal PS pulley?

Oops! Here's one of 2 I broke last weekend, wish me luck this weekend, got many fast miles planned!

    Drag tires

Yes, have the Kumhos, really like them for grip, fab for Autocross. But they spin on launch / 1st and 2nd on the quarter mile, I'm looking for a full drag racing tire to be able to hook up with and launch hard on! :2tu:

    Metal PS pulley?

Thank you Jannie for the info, cool. Beloved thanks you for the kiss! Thank you Jeff.

    Drag tires

I want some drag slicks! My best 60’ times have only ever been 1.8 (street tires) and my best ET 11.6. I have to ease the gas in the first 2 gears and slip the clutch to launch or I spin. What is frustrating is that in the top of 3rd gear and 4th gear, when running against 10 sec cars, I’m...

    Metal PS pulley?

I keep breaking the OE 'plastic' PS pulley. Does anyone know for any stronger metal PS pulleys available? If not I will look into getting one made / machined. Would steel be the choice over aluminum? Aluminum may spin on the shaft it's pressed onto? (I think aluminum absorbs heat faster...

    snaps from Saturday

Shelby3 is correct it's an engine breather / oil catch tank. Yeah, ain't they nice ali welds, it was seeing the quality or their work that led me to approach them to custom make me a system (rather than make something myself only half as pretty!) the tanks fully baffled, and has a sight glass...

    snaps from Sunday

I threw the belt / bust the PS pulley on the only run I was able to make, got the clutch in and coasted over at 172.9 mph! Think I'd have been somewhere 180 - 190 mph if all had held out! Cheers for that pic Neil, you and your camera!! "I was going to get that cider even if it killed me!"

fancied something different for a few months

Very impressive, speedy, looks like the car has kept on going...driving off a race track and through a wire fence at speed. Like it lots, very unique and creative.

    Isle of Man trip

Thanks Neil, see you at Goodwood! Isle Of Man was great...I WANT to live there...mountain roads, 7 miles long up and down the mountain...with NO speed limits, 130 mph +, I was in heaven, got through 4 tanks of gas, did well over 300 miles on the Island over 3 days, fast, fast, fast driving, and...

    Cryogenic treatment for tranny?

I'm interested in deep cryogenic treatment, as I'm wanting to strengthen my tranny and diff. I've found a company in the UK that does it. I've read up on the process, and it sounds good, I'm going to get brake rotors done also. What parts of the tranny should I get treated, I guess input/main...
