GenII / GTS-R 24 hour race UK now!

It's getting a rare sight to see a GTS-R racing now in UK being 10 years old design, the Comp Coupes are up there in GT3, but the R cars are quicker! I've only a few mins to post some pics of the beautiful #3 GTS-R in action, live racing still as I post! I have #2 so loaned some parts from my...

Front Lower A Arm just snaped how does that happen?

Do you know if the car was ever shipped and if so how it was tied down? I mention this as I've seen these type of failures in the UK some years ago on a couple of cars, the failure happened some months later...and we found out that the cars were transported by strapping them down through the...

Were off the Top Gear track

Hey Juli, I just have to share Fatboys comment with you, the reason he's butt up like that, is because "he was checking his nuts" :rolaugh:

    10.3 at 131mph pics

Yes, VOI bound! Thanks everyone, I didn't realse the results were so good, very pleasing coming from USA as you always seem to get better times over there. I couldn't get my car to a track last year, then the first time I did last month I was running bad in the 11's at an event, as I had a...

I'm wondering if 9's could be in reach?? Probably not! The cars at 4000lbs, I don't know how much weight I'd need to save to see a difference in ET, nor do I know how much the headwind hurt, only that it probably did reduce mph and ET?? Can someone that drag races Vipers help, the only other...

Tremec 6060 in a Gen. II?

I had the Euro Aston Martin gear 5th and 6th ratios done in my T56, was the way to go. John Donetto's your man for that. I have also done some speed sensor work, I worked out a toothed gear-wheel to press fit on the front slip yoke, and then made a bracket to take the OE speed pick up sensor...

Just found a moment to post these pics a mate took from some recent runs we made at 1 of only 2 drag raceways in the UK. Both cars are on stock suspension which really helps the weight transfer, both run Roe SC's and were on several year old DOT drag radials, my tyres had been loaned to other...

Dogs and Vipers - Bring em' for a ride?

Richie, that's some good looking hounds you got there. And Dave, yours are so cute. Mine are too big to safely sit one harnessed in the seat of a Viper (with gortex seat cover!) I have 5 rescue cases! The '68 Amerson estate gives them all room to travel, they even go sit in it in the day...

    Thanks Sean Roe

VEC2 is good, I tried "plug play" but it let me down at an event, voltage drop under cranking apparently glitched the board, I was miss-firing all over the place, went back to VEC2, now running good.

Justin Bell to drive a GTS-R again !

Better pics to follow, here's a few for now from Goodwood Festival of Speed event. Justin reunited with the car after 9 years, he jumped in, started straight up, and raced the hill. I found I felt very much "at home" in the GTSR too :)

    racing smokey pic!

The Vipers both have Roe Superchargers! And a few other little tinkerings here and there. We survived the day (and did quite well) vid soon to follow! Filling up with Gas was $11.83 a gal, its going to be cheaper to run alcohol over here!

1200 miles/22 hours, new Viper owner!

Buying 97 GTS B/W...What to check for?

To add to the list for '97, check on front timing cover seal oil leaks, and rear main. Rings, if owner will drive it hardish, see if blows dip-stick out a little. Trans good, esp 5th. Later fan upgrade (rubber air flaps, not hard plastic). OE PS pulley are sods on all years. Go over...

This is fantastic Justin is going to celebrate his 10th year from GT2 champion with '99 Le Mans Viper C23. Here's a cool pic below. The car has just had a fresh lick of paint in the original Oreca colors for the event. We're going pre event, so will try to get pics up smart!

Brakes not as good as SRT-10

Daves BBs are the way to go, fitted these to a '97...but not my '97; I'm still running OE and out front, just damn anoying they get so hot, melt the BJ grease and it sometimes catches fire!! Daves or Toms brakes conversion are best way to go, with Cones cooling. Some just like the big caliper...
