Poll - How many Viper owners are also into motorcycles? What kind?

Sports bikes for me, although I do have a GasGas 250 trail also. Many UK Viper members have high powered bikes. My first bike: My current ride, R1:

    Aftermarket electrical gremlins on 2000

2000 GTS UK member has been suffering a few cold start-up idle problems. Plugs good and few obvious checks OK etc. So connected it up to Roes EASE software to look / read for any trouble codes. Instant concern, with ignition left in "on" position, fuel pump is not de-energizing, it's 'firing'...

    Brake pad recommendation for track

Could anyone please give me a contact where I can mail order PFC from in the USA (to be delivered to a USA address)? I have been wanting to try their pads this year, they are just making a name for themselves in the UK. These were the part numbers a rep gave me for Viper OE brakes: Front...

    My water injection install

Yes, Roes blower. Despite it sounding like a jet and having a wing, the airport runways won't let me out to play on their grounds...I have begged! You are lucky to live in the land of the Autobahn! Enjoy a ride in your mates '98.

    My water injection install

(Dam* those big size pics, thought I'd edited them!) Dennis, I will get some pics took, I installed most of the kit and pumps in the trunk for it. Hi Torque, thanks for the compliments. I am running a blocked jet/no water warning system, that was a must have, just one of the many items...

    My water injection install

Adam, a couple more pics of the tank I had made. The company only makes them in blue, that is the material they work with, and no windows, you'll have to take a peek in the filler cap; or just an idea, you could have 2 tiny outlets top and bottom and run a clear tube between them (as water...

    My water injection install

Yeah the system is triggered by a boost switch, which is adjustable. It's set to trigger at >3psi. I like the fact the controller maps the water proportional to the fuel flow (reads off an injector wire). I'm wiring in a manual driver control switch also. Will only use distilled water. I...

    My water injection install

Another pic (!I've just learnt how to post, thanks Neil!) of the intake tubes, see the location of the holes for the jets, just before the 90 degree bends into the rear of the SC inlet. And all in the name of LOVE...

    My water injection install

Some of you were asking for pics, took these before I started adding the goodies to my Beloved. Will get some more pics took soon! (I don't have a digital camera, but I do have cool Aquamist!). Installed 4 X 0.5 mm jets in the intake tubes (can go bigger jet sizes if need be) Filter from...

This pic shows the position of where to drill to fix the splitter on, this is copied exactly as Dodge did with the GT2 factory splitters except they used rivits.

GTS-R at West Coast Viper (pics)

Nice pics, thanks. I'd be in heaven if a GTS-R ever visited my garage.

    side splitters

I had some made in carbon fiber, clamped them to the sill, while I drilled small 5mm holes to bolt them up. Used stainless steel button-head 15 mm long bolts and lock nuts (bolt head splitter side) and large stainless washers either side. Used about 15 bolts per side.

    I finally did it...STRIPES!

Looks real good Tony. Like the pearl white, can see it in the rear pic. Vinyl lasts well, there's a few Vipers over here that have vinyl stripes, and still looking good upto 5 years later. Like the other cool looking mods you've done too, some nice touches to the car, hope to see your RT at...

    I like motorcycle guys!!!

Yeah, we flash high beams over here as a warning, there are some people that don't bother though. Mobile cop lazar (instant on) units are being used a lot over here now, they hide them and operate out the back of cars, ticket with points and fine arrives 2 weeks later via the post! They run it...

Did Kumho come out with 18s

Yeah, they're availble next day in the UK, there's a set in my garage (not mine) they are 285/30/R18 and 335/30/R18 Y-rated. That front size will make the car sit a little lower at the front than OE, but that's the only availble 18" sizes. Hope they soon make it across the waters to you.

    Draining Fluidyne Rad?

Daniel, I don't care much for AC (although left it there)! But I likes what you says, you going to Chucks BBQ this year again (I missed you in person last year but did see your car) I can sort you with cash if you can bring!?

    Draining Fluidyne Rad?

I've only ever used Mopar coolant and distilled water 50/50; I do change it quite regular, I think about 3 times in the last couple of years! Daniel can you recommend a good aluminum radiator please? I want something with much improved cooling over OE as I go out on track and also have a SC...

    Draining Fluidyne Rad?

Thanks for your replys. Just read the post again and when I say undo, I seem remember the threaded pipe screws up into the nut, to expose a hole drilled in the threaded pipe bit so as to drain. But tried either way just incase my memories letting me down! Never thought of contacting the...

    Draining Fluidyne Rad?

Have a Fluidyne ali radiator, and trying to drain it. Before, when ever I've done it I'm sure I just undone the little brass wing-tap like thing lower left corner of the rad. But, today turning the 2 wing-tabs you hold to undo, they are just spinning around on the brass threaded pipe that goes...
