I used Reliable twice and was very happy. They were like $200 more than brokered quote I got but they called several times with status and the driver was great both times.
I used a general one once before Reliable and wasn't happy, it was cheaper but they didn't call when they picked it up, I...
Nice car & good response. It's more how you treat people than the display of the car. I've seen kids in a dealership, some parents are just in a coma, I've seen showroom cars with scratches all on them fro people looming over them & kids. I've seen dealers rope of GT500's for the same reason...
I've checked 3 airings so far this weekend and the viper's not on any of them, my latest shows their 2014 car fav's, which includes the C7 of course, lol.
Read my post, I did buy a gen2, I bought a gen3 before they were made. So yea, I do know, you're memory is skewed by emotion or a need to bash or something, I dunno. Like I say, I'm sure there were guys who over paid on gen2/3's and made a bad deal on the purchase, maybe that's what you remember...
What are we debating on this topic?
A lot of use have been buying vipers since the 90s. I bought my gen2 from a dealer at about $7k discount. When the gen3 came out Dodge sent me an owners coupon for the launch that got me an early car with priority delivery and at invoice, that was before the...
Huge fan of the targa. I loved my RT/10 design. And it works for trackdays. As for storage, I had a Porsche Turbo 930 Slantnose Targa, it had a targa top option that folded up on itself, like an accordian, it easily stowed in the nose/trunk. So a hardtop for when you know you'll leave it on...
The GT500 comes in a vert, but the coupe also comes in an awesome glass roof, this option got me in a '14 GT500, the feel of a vert but a coupe and I could take it right to a trackday without an issue. Considering it's in the fastest 20 cars around Laguna, not bad, fast as an R8 around Laguna...
Here's the link, it's on the drivesrt site, just follow to the schedule page, courtesy of the other Dman, without the stuttering "n". lol

I think this makes sense when it was a Dodge Viper. It was Dodges entire brands Halo car. Now that it's an SRT and they've moved to this church and state mentality about it, it's not a Halo car, it's the ONLY car that is an SRT. All the other SRT's are models of Dodge vehicles, Jeep SRT, Dodge...
Yea, while waiting I got a '14 GT500 to have something to tinker with, 712rwhp later its a fun toy. My 08 gen4 is a love but long in the tooth for having it, desire something new and for it to be a viper, if I knew what to plan for or not. Having been in the viper community since '99, it is...
I agree if the new on replaces the old one, but his isn't versioning, it's not a new product replacing an old one. There are guys who would buy if they knew the vert was 2 yrs or more away. So they're losing sales, anyone who's waiting is already waiting, it's not like they're going to lose...
Thanks, and if he would just officially say this then I'd be shopping. Anyone really ready to buy but holding for a possible vert would go ahead and buy before waiting 2+ yrs, that's a friggin lifetime. There are I'm sure guys out here like me who were waiting on news since he showed it to us...
With VOI12 info sharing the submitted design shots with us, and "hearing that it was approved". Why won't Ralph give any info on the vert, at least in timing? What's the deal on why it needs to still, 2 yrs later, be a secret?
If it's imminent, then thanks, those who want one can be puttin...
I'd pay for their airfare to see that myself, lol, awesome.
They were definitely in trash talk mode, they love my viper, etc., and we were well into the stock of beer, I think my emotional reaction to the Crysler commercial gave them an irresistable shot at me. What are friends for.
So, the Crysler super bowl commercial, which I loved and said "hell yea" to when it aired started a controversy with some (now potentially former) friends. lol
I was like, "oh yea, great commercial", they were like, how dumb .. now Fiat owns 100% of Crysler, it's an Italian company pretending...
I agree, I think they are pushing the perf also to justify the price. I think they'll struggle to keep it under $100k. The way marketing is, they may do it at like a $94,900 or with a miracle even an $89,900 (I don't see how though) and then have an option that anyone who buys it would be...
Viper with TA package, the primo track model is $120k
C7 Z51 with very mild options comes in around $64k easy
So, then the Z06 model will only be $70k, or only a $7k option. Hmm, if this happens I might get one for a DD, but I'm thinking it's unlikely.
