Mike, thanks for the tips and crit. I totally understand when you say that it's hard cause you don't see the background. The lighting and render will really make this thing pop. I will be using maxwell renderer or mental ray for the rendering with global illumination and materials I have to...
I'm not sure if I want to buy them because of the fact that no one has tried them and I honestly rather go with a local (us) vendor. If I do change my mind I will post up pictures. And the port shape does look off and a bit small based on the other header designs that I have seen.
I'm very curious to see if anyone has used these headers? Maybe some feedback on sound or dyno results or fitment? I was curious cause they are cheap and seem to be made out of the same material and grade as the American racing headers.
Here are some pics from the auction they are selling for...
Re: Modeling my Viper SRT-10 in 3d Added more progress shots
Actually similar but not quite. I am an Art director (Global branding, sfx, graphic design, web, etc) for a company in dallas. However, I got my master's degree in 3d modeling and animation. I got an offer after I graduated from...
Re: Modeling my Viper SRT-10 in 3d Added more progress shots
Here is the rear fender and hood I didn't have these pics when I posted the first set of pictures this is where I am in my progress on this model. Thanks for all the inspiring complements:
I decided to do the 08 hood. I will do a...
Need some suggestions should I do the 08 hood or 06. The advantage to the 08 hood is that I can make an ACR out of it later. The advantage to the 06 is that I have one and it would be cool to have my car in model form. Any suggestions maybe both huh?
Thanks to all. I will have to try Rhino. I have the trial version just haven't had a chance to mess with it. I want to use Maxwell Renderer for the renders. Isn't that what solidworks guys use to render their models.
Well this isn't an engineering software which makes it more difficult. It's Autodesk's Maya program it's what animators and modelers in the film and gaming industry use.
Hey guys just wanted to throw this up here to see what you guys think. It's modeled with Maya and eyeballed. I have modeled 3d for many years and I wanted to piece a car together to the best of my knowledge and diagrams. I thought it would be a good challenge. This has been months worth of work...
The contribution to this site from me is that I actually posted on the site, by posting this problem I have helped others. I was also going to post pics of changing the shock myself. Everyone contributes in a different way that's how sites like this gain more users, it's because of the valuable...
The person who I purchased it from bought the car from moss bros dodge, in San Bernardino, CA. He had purchased and Extended warranty from that dealership, He paid close to 3000 for it. But it looks to be a aftermarket warranty by the name of First Extended Services Corp. It has a 100...
How much? Is it the full assembly with coilspring?
We don't have many dealerships in Dallas, Tx. Unless any of you have recommendations. I go to Dallas Dodge.
Which brand would you recommend?
I was changing the oil and looked over to the back wheels and noticed a lot of oil in the RR wheel. I noticed that the passenger rear shock was covered in oil. My shock is blown at 18k miles! I called the dealer cause I have the extended warranty and they will not cover it because it's a wear...
