    OH, thanks to being a member and receiving that wonderful viper magazine. I used the Ipod installation guide in the second to last issue to dissemble my shifter and radio bezel. Very easy to follow.

    gen3 stripe question

    And easier way to accomplish this is you put the green knifeless tape on the edge of your existing stripes. Then you put the vinyl over it then you can use the knifeless tape to cut the vinyl on top without cutting it before or figuring out how to cut. It will be exactly like your old stripes...

    Interesting, sorry to Highjack the thread Nate. I think vinyl would be cheaper for what you want to achieve and not as Permanent as painting it.

    ah ok I see. why would there be a lip if it was painted usually painted stripes don't have a lip like that pronounced. Is it just the quality of work? Cause I have seen superformance kit cars with stripes and they don't have a "lip". It's super smooth

    YES BlknBlu is right. The window switches from a Gen III will not fit on this shifter bezel. The guage bezel will work fine.

    The original stripes on the gen III's are all vinyl. Correct me if I'm wrong guys most of the first editions and the various striped gen III's have been vinyl in my experience.

    I just finished some photos of my friends 99 GTS. The car is a beast.

    I just called him cause I wasn't sure if he was still selling it.. he said he wants to advertise it for $46,000 I told him that might be too much so I got him down to $43,500 and he said that's lowest he is willing to take on it. Do you think that's a good price?
