Wow that color is crazy in the sun! I love it. You can never go wrong with the BBS ACR wheels, but aftermarket polished/black/anthracite, etc. would look cool too. I don't think you could make that car look bad. Nice work!
Write them a letter saying your, "quick-detach" plate w/ bracket were in the back and that you take it off when leaving the car unattended, as it's not permanently attached. Then I'd recommend buying the Partsrack clothespin lic. plate bracket if you don't already have one.............in case...
Uhhh... sorry. I edited the ad real quick to mention shipping is FREE and it took the ad away. Apparently it needs "approved" again. Be back up shortly I hope.
That's VERY cool..........and probably the cheapest Viper art you can get. While I was away, my wife projected fangs onto the garage wall. She painted it up and I now have a 3-foot Fangs staring at me when I walk in.
Ad in classifieds under "Engine, intake & exhaust." For those that requested pics from me, they're now up. Previous buyer couldn't come up with $$$ so it's back up for sale.
Wow! My impression was just the opposite. My older RT/10 was a little too firm and harsh. At VOI9 I was amazed at how plush and comfortable the SRT Coupe was. Maybe it was just the seats, but I think the SRTC would be better for a long haul.
John is a HELLUVA GOOD GUY. Sure he gets busy and short with you from time to time. He's prettty much running Partsrack all by himself. Yes, he has his opinions, but realize he's not pulling them from his A$$. He's VERY knowledgeable about his business. I took his recommendation on the...
Just a note that I'll be listing a previously installed wet NX kit on ebay soon. Thought I'd share it here in case anyone was in the market. I bought the kit last year brand new. I made custom solenoid brackets, custom switch box (ashtray), and custom brace for the rear hatch of the GTS. I...
See what you get for trying to be a nice guy and help the driver out.......... TROUBLE. That's unfortunate they're not stepping up and taking care of that for you. Very unprofessional on their part. But good on you for getting your insurance to cover it for now. Some sellers would leave it...
I LOVE the polished lip. My opinion is that the centers should be Anthracite or Gun-metal (metallic). It looks sporty and classy. But whatever color you pick for the center, KEEP THE POLISHED LIP! Nice rims otherwise.
Re: Pics of SILVER GTS's with stripes needed.................
Here's the car with the old blue stripes. I like the metallic graphite (above) much better.
That has to be a re-paint. There's no way they would have let that out of the factory. Not that it's hideous, but even those that aren't so fanatical would notice that. Looks like a good excuse to get one of those new hoods!
I'd recommend the RamdonTech catback. Excellent quality, looks, and sound. JonB has a killer price on them too! The rear is an "X" pipe instead of the central muffler.
I used Redline water wetter. Don't know if it works, but couldn't hurt. I heard several folks say it gave positive...
Sorry for the plug in this forum. I'll be listing them on ebay soon and wanted to get the word out to fellow Viper owners first. I have a set of Purner CCW wheels with mounted tires. I bought them over the winter and won't be getting that serious about drag racing after all. I was told they were...
A little off topic, but I have a gen 2 bulkhead that has only been cut for harnesses. (A slit in each side). It would be a perfect piece to chop and hack on to work with your cage. Just in case you wished to keep your original bulkhead intact. PM me if interested.
I installed the autoform...
I have a set of slicks/skinnies that are mounted and balanced! I'm looking to get $1,000 for the entire set of 4. Purner CCW 16" wheels. MT ET Street slicks that are like new. PM me if interested. I have pics and will be listing on ebay soon,
If the battery went completely dead before charging, it might be........ you need to unlock the car with the key fob. The car automatically "locks" itself when you put in a new battery or have run one totally dead. Sounds like the fuel cutoff will let the car start, but it will immediately...
The Gen 2's were generally 8" stripes with 4" spacing. In one post not long ago, someone specified the stripe dimensions for each year and they were a couple of millimeters off from year to year.
I just put 8" stripes with 4" spacing on my '98 GTS and it looks great (stock). Don't know...
On my previous '95, I had a similar problem. Turns out the battery was my problem. It was accompanied by the engine turning over slower than usual. It would take 2-3 seconds to start. With a new battery it fired immediately. If you're sure the battery's not the culprit, see above posts.
