    Ifn he was a good guy, he woulda wrote you for 84mph (19 over) in many states, 20 mph over is a big problemo. Tony BTW many years ago, I got a ticket ( still have a copy) for 110+mph. :shocked: :crazy: The state trooper pulled his revolver :eek: and made me get in the back seat...

    Well, I was thinking that if I bought a coupe I would use it more...could do more everyday type of errands such as pick up a friend at the airport( not my wife...you should see what she packs for a 2 day trip!) :curse: I thought maybe a couope has some luggage room if I remove the spare...

    For those that have low mileage Vipers, how do you do it?

    I, like many others, have other cars/ motorcycles/hobbies and with the limited weekend use and short driving season in the northeast it's not easy to put on miles. I work one mile from where I live and it wouldn't be right to start-up an engine and then drive it one mile without reaching...

    Crazy to Replace ACR Wheels with I Forged ??

    Gary ...you have excellent taste. The wheels will not affect the resale value and they will really give that paint a LOT of snap...I say do it and you'll NEVER regret it . People will see you coming from 1/4 mile away ...did I mention they'll look AWESOME with that paint color...if you don't...

    Oh yeah??/ Well Toyota had a lot of headgasket problems when thay came out with the V-6 engine years ago....so guess what they did??...extend the warranty for 10 years or 100,000 miles. So...where is Toyota today?? It's called....I don't care how old your vehicle is....it's a deficient...

    Well, no pics but the vin is 1B3ER69E9XV502968. I'm thinking that perhaps it's not unusual to have a lot of shims on one rear latch only? :rolleyes:

    In another post that I read there was a question whether or not the headgaskets had been replaced. Is this a recall?...or a common problem? If they are not serviced will this cause a catastrophic failure?? or just some tiny oil leaks?

    Upon close inspection, I have found what looks like a masking seam just inside the driver door jamb, ..as if the left rear 1/4 was repainted...and they didn't want to replace the black rivets or mask around them.
