Be sure the bolts are tight when reinatalling the caliper. Many makes apply locktite at the factory..not a bad idea. Some use a large needlenose pliers to push and turn in the rear caliper pistons ( I believe clockwise)
Be sure the hub mounting surface is clean where it contacts the rotor...
Tell the boy down the street "cause the Ferrari doesn't hold the world record for the fastest car at Nurburgring and Laguna Seca and etc.":D:headbang::2tu:

I read a report quite some time ago... that in order for the touchless car washes to get the car clean...they use very very very harsh detergent which is very very bad

Hey Snakem, howd you make out with the Hawk HP Plus? Like em?
Im thinking of ordering Carbotech 8's or 10's.. anyone rocking the Carbotech 10's on the track...I know theyre noisy and dusty...but claim dust is non -corrosive and easy to clean off ? :drive:
^^^ What he said. Castrol SRF has the highest WET boiling point and is cheap considering.... also brake ducting..Henry Cone??( some guy out west sells the kit..Parts Rack?)
I don't think oil starvation is a problem with stock tires ( depending on the track) YOu are probably gonna be ok with this if you are an occasional track day. You can have a lot of fun without going to a track alignment and 6k in brake upgrades.
caveat...there are others much more...
wow, that reminds me of many years ago(dont ask how many) I was pulled over by a state trooper in my 1967 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII ( I had it for 30 years) and he was very upset..he made me get out and sit in the back seat of his Ford 4 dr sedan ( with the police interceptor package) and I was...
Thanks Bill, which Stoptech rotors would you recommend for a 97 GTS if he stays with the stock size rotors? (btw how did you "destroy" the stock rotors).
I just thought this is getting too expensive for him. If he's gonna get new tires and new wheels and new Stoptech rotors and Tom's...
#1. Castrol SRF brake fluid @ $75 qt ( 518 deg WET boiling point)
#2 see #1 above
#3 I think Jon B @ parts rack sells a brake cooler duct kit
#4 Tom's brake upgrade for the rears
#5 Brakeman 3 pads
#6 Stock rotors absorb the most heat and don't crack
#7 Yep...we're working on the brakes

I thought it was just a Canadian thing...Ive only seen plates ( or tags down south) on Canadian Vipers...not US Vipers....boy they must be really tough over the border.
I'm in New York and keep the front plates on both my Viper and the AMG behind the front seat. I've been stopped by State...
Please do some investigation as to what is a recommended safe proceedure to follow if using a extiguisher for a car fire. I myself am ignorant as to what proceedure to follow but....I don't know if you want to " pop the hood and hit it with an extinguisher" and certainly would not recommend it...
1) Strikers are not that expensive
2) More horsepower = more heat......strikers have better coolant flow and probably will help this quite a lot .. JM can tell you why
3) I would call Jeff Morey...he can give you good info...and nice guy to talk to
4) visit the web site..lots of info...
